Very well done video. Lots to think about. We haven’t made a move but I never thought about geoarbitrage in relation to current residents and businesses.

Yes, this is a layer to geoarbitrage that is so often missed in favor of the obvious economic benefits. We're glad Kevin brought it up and that we got to experience it first hand in Tulsa. As he mentioned, Harlem, NY (once known as a predominantly Black wealthy neighborhood) has suffered the same fate and that's a part of the reason we decided to go there. More to come in a forthcoming episode.

They can find $10k to pay outsiders to move to Tulsa and gentrify the people already living there. But they can't find $10,000 to invest into a entrepreneur crash course and allow the locals to pool their resources together and build co-ops.
I mean if they gave 100 people from Tulsa $10k each that's $1 mil. dollars that they could put down as EQUITY and borrow another $2 million from the bank so they'd have in total $3 million dollars, that would be enough to buy some land, develop the land, build warehouse and create a proper manufacturing business or 100 other REAL businesses that would generate at least $10k+ for each person annually (PLUS $30k+ for those that choose to work in the new business they set up).

Let's be fair...do we know that "they can't find $10K to invest in entrepreneurs" that live there? We certainly understand the potential for frustration but let's base it on facts. We just did a Google search and just a few days ago, Pres. Biden and the SBA announced a $150K fund to support women entrepreneurs in Tulsa. I'm sure if we kept looking, we'd find more.

Hell yeah. I used geoarbitrage to increase my wealth. It's an excellent strategy. I sold my 3000sq ft townhome and pay cash for a smaller home in a lower cost of living area. My networth has exploded. I was able to purchase rental property and I'm now semi retired. Geoarbitrage definitely sped up that process.
Because I'm still make an excellent income as an IT contractor and have other streams of income, I am able to save and invest close to 40k a year.......I don't have kids and I'm completely debt free so you know I'm living my best life.....dang pandemic, can't travel like I want to though. The EU just put the US on restrictions.......ugghhhh! So my life is pretty boring now.....lol
