I’m impressed with how seamlessly you’ve combined the camera and the drone to create such breathtaking images. Your work is outstanding, Andy-brilliant photos! Thank you for sharing them.
As usual Andy wonderful content, great photography and terrific editing. I always look forward to your videos Sir, this one in particular struck a chord. Thank you and keep doing what you love, we are all enjoying it!
Some of the best shots I've seen in a video for a while. Stunning. Particularly the ones of the polar bear in "the window," but also some of the boat in the water at sunset stood out too. They all did. Looks like an amazing location, and you captured it well with brilliant photographs.
What an amazing photos! Awesome adventure. I watched it two times :-) Andy, every time I consider changing systems, your videoes keeps me grounded. Thank you for ongoing inspiration!
Stunning photos and footage with so much versatility as well being awesome! Truly inspiring and I really hope I get a chance to film/photograph polar bears in the wild.
Thanks so much for commenting, glad you enjoyed the images. It was tempting with the polar bear to just shoot tight portraits with the telephoto lens, but I really wanted some images that showed more of the context and location, and it turned out that those with the water were amongst my favourites
I think it's safe to say that the images you've made did indeed do the trip justice and then so much more. It's wonderful to see you finally turning your plans for Greenland into reality. Beautifully produced video and stunning images. Amazing work my friend - congratulations!
Stunning. Your videos are always such a peaceful pleasure, Andy. Honestly, you make me want to take up landscape photography, though it's an area I've so very little experience in. Getting out into the wild and seeing such natural beauty is such a blessing.
@@AndyMumford Insane drone footage. How much luggage were you able to bring on the boat ? I couldn't imagine you could bring a lot. One t-shirt / two pairs of underwear... and the rest is the camera equipment haha.
Great video! Thank you for sharing. I was in Greenland in August in a photo workshop. We were on the other side - Ilulissat and Disko Bay. The sun didn’t go down until well after midnight. We didn’t see any polar bears, but we saw several whales. I will have to explore the eastern part of Greenland where you are the next time I get a chance to get out there. Truly spectacular images.
We were probably there at similar times...this was filmed on an August trip. The sun set at around 1h and rose a little after 3h...it's a beautiful part of the world. I was in Illulissat last year and enjoyed it, but the eastern part of Greenland is a very different experience, it's much more remote and can only be explored by boat. It's well worth visiting if you get the chance
What a trip. Amazing plane and fantastic photographs. Out of curiosity., I noticed you are using the Sigma 100-400. How does it compares to the Fujifilm 100-400? I have the Fujifilm one.
Thanks so much for watching. I really enjoyed the Sigma lens and the next video will actually be a review of it. The shots with the polar bear really put the auto focus to the test and I thought it performed really well
Amazing video, I didn't know I wanted to visit Greenland and now I do! I see you're using the Sigma 100-400, is there a review of that one coming soon?
Thanks so much, really glad you enjoyed the video. As for the Sigma, I really enjoyed it and the next video will be a review. I actually did the review months ago, but other videos like this one and the 16-50 mm review got pushed in front.
@@AndyMumford Thanks for getting back to me Andy! I'm heading there next September and have been trying to get a feel for what conditions will be like at that time.

Wow, that blue water with the polar bear at 06:04 🎉 absolutely beautiful! The one ate 06:13 is even better ❤

Can you do a video about Post Processing?
Thanks for the comment. I've done a few videos on processing in the past, but at some point I should put another one together.
When did you shoot this Andy?
This was filmed back in August of this year
@@AndyMumford Thanks for getting back to me Andy! I'm heading there next September and have been trying to get a feel for what conditions will be like at that time.
Sigma 100-400 … why not Fuji 100-400?
