I love the idea that the curse is still in dark cacao’s body and whenever he gets angry enough he goes into his berserk form
Well its kinda when he gets overwhelmed by ANY negative emotion in general. That could include stress or even sadness

His rage also contains insanity, torment, and dark power. One insult and dark cacao becames furious and kills everything with no mercy. Legends said that if he becomes too angry while he's holding a sword where his soul jam was, his sword takes control of HIM and destroy everything in sight, including black pearl cookie. The only way to stop him is his weakness. If pure vanilla does an lullaby while using light, he will go back to normal. But he will be unconscious for a year or even centuries.
In ovenbreak there's a costume that showing Dark Choco Cookie is overwhelmed and becoming fully trapped with the curse of strawberry jam sword. Even though he's trapped in dark magic, he still fighting inside to break the curse.
That might be a good continuation for the story.
Bruh I thought it’s an actual cutscene until the weird ghostly sprite of dark cacao showed up. The dialogue is really well made.

You know this game made for children right? The cookie doesnt use the word kill, they use the word crumble to reference dead as when a cookie crumb they consider as dead. I just want you to know to use the word more polite
