nice, seems like you produce stuff that ambiance fans dreamed for long time. btw would love to hear some scary thematic exoplanet ambiances and some kind of mining in caves for exotic mineral in some distant planet

@@NostalgicMem0ries Sorry for the 1 year late reply :) I love Dead Space too, i played all of them long time ago, now i want to play them again. I would often just chill in some safe space enjoying the ambience. I heard there's a remake coming in 2023, i can't wait for it.
It took me long enough but I finally stumbled upon this awesome channel. I like to play ambience, rain sounds, and music at the same time while I work. I'm loving your work, Mike!
I was just about to come to one of your recent D&D uploads and ask you if you ever did anything SciFi. This is awesome! Our group is moving from D&D to Starfinder in a few months. Checking out your Patreon for sure!
Thanks so much Joshua! Yes I composed around 8 Sci-Fi ambiences so far, but there are 50 others planned at least :) Any support through Patreon is much appreciated, especially since I reduced my work % to work more on the channel :)
Nice biota density, paleo soundscapes without Sapien impact (modern/urban conceptions with depopulated diversity) are hard to find. This may be meant as a speculative biology instead of paleobiology but it puts me in the right headspace for my studies anyways. Thank you My only suggestion would be perhaps adding a track with some low bellows ( think, modern aligators or extinct tyrannosaurids edit: not jurrasic park) which would add an additional niche into your species complex.
//DIARY ENTRY N°4// [Stg.Jonathan Garvecht - PDFMC 16th Reconnaissance Detachment - Planet: Flagelia-3] Fucking hell, I hate this place. These jungles are a goddamn maze made of thick vegetation, prickly trees and... Lord knows how many beasts, to think something might be stalking us... just waiting for the moment to strike makes my skin crawl. My squad and I were sent to investigate this planet after Fleet Command received an SOS from a scientific ship that went missing a few days ago, but why here?, the ship's last know whereabouts were nowhere near this system, maybe it had to do with that wack ass artifact they were studying. I guess this is another case of "Curiosity killed the Cat". //END OF ENTRY//
There's that one species that bellows now and then. I swear it sounds like some human blowing their nose! Dunno if that's where you got the noise, but it's what it sounds like to me.
That is incredibly specific.... I’m imagining I’m a catachan jungle fighter tracking a xenos scum through the underbrush, ready to strike the moment their feeble guard is let down... one by one, they shall disappear with little to no trace and a deafening lack of sound. No foot print, no blood stains, and no sound. The trick is, I was already here waiting for them... and I haven’t left.... This time, the humans are the predators... This time we are the hunters... this time...we are the monsters, the boogie man in the night. ....yes it is a joke about mine being WAY more specific than yours.
@@HunterSentinel yo I am reading death world and I needed some ambience while i digest the life of death struggle the jungle fighters face on rogar III I am so fucking happy to see someone else who came here because of catachan!
Sound as always on top! Well done! But if you think from the point of view of science, the laws of the universe are the same everywhere and the same types of energy and matter are used, which means the alien life will not be different from ours. I just think so ... and then we'll wait and see)))))
That's half true. Yes the laws of physics are the same, but the initial situation may vary by a lot. By example the air composition, the sun brigthness, the gravitation force, the magnetic field will be different for sure, it's highly unlikely to have the same situation. Hence the existence of very different life forms. Speaking about life forms, we can even imagine easily hypothetical types of biochemistry : life based on liquid nitrogen, arsenic, silicon, etc. I'm 100% sure we are the only humans in the universe.
It should be carbon based life most likely... However the evolution depending on the gravity of the planet the star that it orbits the atmosphere..etc life would look like nothing here on earth, just think how many species which evolved on different continents on earth look so different from eachother
your an idiot. each life would be and look completely different from ours. you fool. somewhere out there every possible alien plant, alien fungi, alien creatures, alien fruits and alien veggies and other unknown concepts truly exist in the vast uni/multiverse
@@VoyagerLife826 why don’t you take time to read? Comment sections are triggered when someone talks about alien life. Yes, there are millions of species, but they all fall in the same categories. Fungi, plants, animals, and animals look similar in the same environment. Fishes would exist in any alien ocean, birds would fly all skies, and intelligent species most likely have humanoid traits because that’s the culmination of evolution, both physical and mental. And they tend to coincide.
@@mihneapopa8856 yes, I agree 💯👍 Convergent Evolution is a fact, what I was trying to say is that it could be even beyond our imagination what we define as life could really actually be. Hope this makes sense 😂

Oh hey, it's the Shivering Isles.
Sounds like there are some extraterrestrial gibbons upon this exoplanet! Those "wow" sounds are calls that white handed gibbons make.
The perfect ambience for the novella I'm writing. Cheers!

you guys should try read 'annihilation' by jeff vandermeer while listening to this. is fantastic.
I don't think it is in its entirety in the first book, but the 'Where lies the strangling fruit' poem is amazing.

Well made, but the constant whooping sound is too much. If you had a fifth as many "wooow" sounds, it woudl be really nice.
