It is located on the 2nd basement level and GF floor of the 63 Building. It opened as 63 Sea World in July 1985, but reopened as Aqua Planet 63 on July 1, 2016. As it opened in 1985, it is the oldest existing aquarium in Korea.
However, a notice was posted on the official website that the aquarium 'Aqua Planet 63', operated at 63 Square, will close on June 30, 2024. With this, the aquarium in the 63 Building will disappear into history 8 years after its renewal, and 39 years if you include the 63 Sea World era. namu.wiki

63빌딩 지하 2층, GF층에 위치하고 있다. 1985년 7월 63씨월드로 개장했으나, 2016년 7월 1일 아쿠아플라넷 63으로 재개장했다. 1985년에 개장한 만큼, 현존하는 국내 아쿠아리움 중 가장 오래된 곳이다.
하지만 공식 홈페이지를 통해 63스퀘어에서 운영 중인 아쿠아리움 '아쿠아플라넷 63'이 2024년 6월 30일을 끝으로 영업을 종료한다는 공지가 올라왔다. 이로써 63빌딩 내 아쿠아리움은 리뉴얼 8년 만에, 63씨월드 시절까지 포함하면 39년 만에 역사 속으로 사라진다. namu.wiki
