Of the Ron: "Just give me all the eggs you got." Waiter: " Okay." Ron: "No, I think you misunderstood me. I think you just hear give me a lot of eggs. What I said was give me ALL THE EGGS YOU GOT.
Favorite bit I remember is Ron hiring Ron Dunn, played by Sam Elliot, who he thinks is a kindred soul, only to find out with increasing disgust that he's an old hippy.
I met him a few years ago when he did a show/book signing tour. I was one of the last people to meet him, and he was obviously exhausted, but he was still cool and and we had a great chat. I was a little disappointed he had a weak handshake but I can only assume it was so he didn't crush my mortal hand.
Fun Fact: His marriage to Megan Mullally arose when Megan was already a very famous actress and Offerman was completely unknown still doing the theatre circuit. By his own words, he'd had a massive crush on her for ages and finally got a chance to tell her when they were in a theatre production together - They hit it off immediately and have been together ever since :)
My favorite is when he takes out the fake tooth in front of everyone that moment is probably the reason why offerman is so good because of how in character it is
3:43 That's it. Thank you Karl, I've been trying to remember what my favorite Ron Swanson moment was and it was him presenting the pyramid. That and the scene in the diner where he asks for _all_ the eggs.
Best Parks and Rec moment in general though The finale, we see everyone elses future. The others got bright futures. Garry was mayor, Leslie and Ben became famous politicians, Andy and April had kids, Tom finally got big. Even side characters like Craig got a happy ending, meanwhile Jean-Ralphio failed faking his death for insurance money Or just Jean-Ralphio in general. He may have been the wooooorst, but he was the best
@@nujevad28 Aww man, I forgot about that. Well, the 12th Doctor was a character in one episode before becoming the Doctor, so it wouldn't be the first time something like that has happened.
Hello Mr. Smallwood, I would like to inform you that when Microsoft unveiled the Windows Phone they held a funeral for the iPhone. The reason why I chose to inform you about this is because I noticed that this didn't appear on your website, and I think this topic would work very well with your current format.
One of the best improvised gags in Parks and Rec came from Chris Pratt: "Leslie, I typed your symptoms into the computer and it says you have 'Network Connectivity Problems'
I think the reason it makes sense that you could learn that Ron is mysteriously good at any obscure thing is that basically Ron is set up as an extremely competent motivated person with a real joy for life. It makes sense that anything that he takes even a passing interest in he's likely to stick with and master. He's essentially the Modern renaissance man, in Pawnee Indianna...
April will always be my favourite character but Ron is brilliant! 'Oh I see you shaved of part of your mustache, how lovely' 'I didn't shave it off. It rubbed off. From friction.'
I'm one of those libertarians that loves Ron Swanson takes. For the record, we all know the joke is on us. We know he's a parody, and we know Nick doesn't share the views of his character. We also laugh at his over-the-top portrayal of our ideas, not because "oh finally we're being represented!!" But because we can laugh at ourselves. Just throwing that out there!
I love in the new series Devs, Offerman's first scene is he sits at a table for a presentation, and while the presentation is going, just opens a box with a bunch of greens in it, takes a large handful of them and just shovels them into his mouth. For some reason, having seen Parks and Rec, I thought that was hilarious.
Ron has brilliant moments will everyone in the cast, but my personal favourites are between him and Andy. The shoeshine stand, the times when Andy messes up as Ron's assistant but it makes Ron happy, their love of burritos and football etc. Never fails to make me laugh xD
I'm so glad you guys did this! I had actually been wondering why you hadn't done it before and guessed that you just never saw the show. So happy that you are also fans!!!
The best Ron moment is definitely his will being read or his typewriter, and my favorite character is April where Ron ask her to cook me back after someone told hime something about how important she is she asked what it was and Ron just doesn’t recall and she decides to come back
my favorite ron moment is when he needs to give personal info in the hospital and the nurse asks him is there is deseases in his family and he just says he has an uncle that does yoga
Fun fact. Gencon the biggest gaming convention happens in Indiana and they had a charity Cones of Dunshire game one year complete with a introduction by Adam Scott and Aziz as Ben and Tom

I didn't need a reason to go rewatched parks and rec but it's nice to have one. Btw the best Ron moment is when they're getting drunk on snake juice and rons wearing a doily on his head.
adam scott and rob lowe elevated the show even if offerman stole every scene. i once met rob lowe at a vons pharmacy and i did the finger guns and said “rob lowe” and he actually did them back and said “parks and rec fan” and he was super super nice and gave me and my girlfriend hugs, 10/10 would meet again (probably might since we live in the same city but he lives in one of the nicer communities)
There was an interview with Nick where he spoke about how he suggested to bring the lagavulin whisky into the show. I’ve had it. It’s smooth... smooth as silver
Forgot to mention that the scenes involving Ron's workshop where he does his woodworking is actually Nick's real life workshop where he does woodworking.
I'm late to this video because I've never heard of Ron Swanson or seen Parks and Rec but the Llagavullin thing can't be much of a coincidence because it is the best whisky.
Ron says something funny when he orders something from the resurant Lesly loves. It’s a part plater for 7 people. He says something like... I know what I am about son. Also they don’t even talk about his wood working in the show or real life. How he builds chairs and canoes.
I have always been a huge Chris Pratt fan I have seen all of his movies and tv shows so of course my favorite character was Andy but my favorite Ron moment is the one where it’s a cold open and with the broken coffee maker where he is who broke it and everyone is arguing then he is just I broke it I got angry and punched it

Tammy: “You're a joke. You're not even a man anymore. Oh, and by the way, last night I faked four out of the seven.”
Ron Swanson: “So did I.”
If you do the math, they must have both faked at the same time for at least one of them
