Notice how carnage when he comes out, he rips through the skin, while venom almost "equips" himself over Eddie.
And also notice how Carnage is able to open his body up in morbid ways where venom doesn't, really shows how Carnage rips the Cassidy apart and puts him back together again

It's cause carnage is bonded through cletus's is blood like there the same person. It's also why in some comics cletus can't survive really without carnage.

I also love the detail that Carnage is more... fleshy than Venom. He's just made of blood and sinew. And when Carnage comes out, it appears as if Cletus physically morphs into Carnage rather than Carnage encasing him like Venom does to Eddie.
Also Cletus can't really survive without Carnage since the whole fusing thing and I noticed this while reading many marvel comics

The "Rhino reference" isn't an original creation. There is actually a brand of propane/propane tank rentals in the states(and possibly other countries, can't say for sure though) called Blue Rhino.
yeah, i feel like tcl doesnt go the full distance on some of these so called 'easter eggs' especially the fact that if eddie brock spoke for himself aswell as venom, the dialoge would be so different in almost every scene when hes communicating with other people. And in two scences other people have to relay venoms words.
I think tcl might be getting community input for some of these. How could he be so confident about a blurry person in the background of loki but obviously not tell that it was ned and mj from liz's paty and not brad davis.

The detail about both hiding due to bell sound can also be stated as
Venom is more experienced to the living on Earth and it's surrounding so he has developed to go hiding in an instant just as humans react to certain things like needle hurting or fire, while Carnage was just out and didn't get the idea of going into hiding in an instant. Latter part can also be checked out in the scene where they are in the '66 car and she screams and the first thing carnage does is to get rid of the sound itself and not hide or jump out becuase he's not experienced enough

Might be. But I think not. Carnage is the offspring of venom, so that means he probably knows what venom already does. Therefore, no need for development of those features. Then again, I'm not completely sure about the how symbiote reproduction works 😂..

I found that the reason venom was smaller and generaly weaker us because eddie would npt let him eat. Its been hinted at through out the movie venom is weaker since he was never allowed to fully eat

This is mearly my observation.
Yes and no, symbiotes are attracted to eating brains hence why Venom wants to feed on people all the time. However, it's been implied that they can get the same chemicals from eating chocolate instead. Venom would still prefer people but he and Eddie have an agreement.
Venom is generally weaker because he is just simply a weak symbiote. He has very little powers, strength, and size in comparison to his main foes in Riot and Carnage.
Btw carnage looks like a giant 😂💯in one of the scene🙈

I also noticed that Venom retracted faster than Carnage when the bell rang, but my assumption was always that it was because Venom has been around for longer and was more experienced with protecting himself from the effects of loud sound which was why he retracted himself faster.

@@Darth_Maul10 yeah but they clearly didn't go for how it works in the comics since carnage doesn't have a personality it's just cletus and he doesn't have to worry about being a perfect match for his symbiote because it was created by mixing with his dna meanwhile in the movie they've been made into two separate entities and the only reason he was enduring the sound as well was because as venom said "he's a red one, they're stronger" he made it clear he didn't think he was strong enough to beat one so they've obviously created a new set of rules for their symbiotes to go off of
Lesson learned. Don't say "I have a family" in front of Carnage.

When I watched the movie I noticed another detail that you missed. When carnage is extending his arms,they take the form of DNA strings(sometimes),this is because carnage fused with cledus casadys blood. We do not see this with venom because he fused with eddies nervous system. It is a cool detail that I thought was worth mentioning.

It may be far fetched, but in post credit scene, venom was about to show him something maybe through some portal etc, but at same time, timelines were splitting due to Loki's events. That's why Venom is like "what's happening, what's happening", his tone feels like he himself didn't know what's going on.

At the start of the movie, the van that pick ups Shriek has the plate number "9999912" which is probably a joke about SSU's Earth and MCU's Earth being pretty similar and ofc SSU being basically a second MCU.
I love Carnage's personality. Him and Cletus had so much potential as villains.
And also 6:46 it might also be because Carnage isn't as used to being inside a human like Venom. He is technically a newborn so he would be less experienced than Venom, hence the delay in reacting to the influence from high frequency sounds.

I thought the detail about Venom retracting into Eddie faster when the bell rang was actually showing that Venom was more experienced than Carnage. He reacted more quickly by retreating into the safety of Eddie's body, while Carnage writhed in pain a bit more before deciding how to respond to the sound.

I just wish the aptly named "Let there be Carnage" you know... had more story about Carnage...

@@joshuapaul359 Honestly, the appeal of Carnage x Kasady in the comics was that they were a PERFECT match for each other. They are BOTH wildly unstable and psychotic. Hearing Kasady scream "get away from my wife" makes me apprehensive about even watching this movie. Carnage is a fucking nightmare and hes stronger than both Venom AND SpiderMan which is what prompted them to team up against him back in the day.
Dumb choice to try and make the audience feel bad for Kasady. Kasady was BORN to blend with Carnage.

In the scene where Cletus squishes a spider, it's probably the reason why he lost. Because apparently if you kill a spider, you get bad luck. So, if cletus didn't kill that spider, he would of won the battle against venom.

The story could have been a lot lot better! I liked the way Andy Serkis directed the movie, but felt Carnage was overall wasnt that "Carnageous" as we know. It was good tho. Plus, hyped for the team up!!
Yeah, I feel like the movie needed about half an hour more runtime so they could develope the story more and let carnage do more carnage.

When the detective was reading the newspaper about Kletus' hidden victims, he angrily crushed the newspaper. If you pause it at that scene, there's a headline saying something along the lines of " Avengers lose to nightmare ". ( or something of the sort... it was blurry and some letters were covered by his fist.

7:38 when police officer was shooting at carnage , after every shot carnage was actually shaking his hand because of noise of shot and not because he was taking the shot on body.
This is the perfect example of how Marvel puts so much attention to the small details while making the movies.

I don't know if they did this intentionally or just changing it for no reason but Venom voices in this movie are less frightening and more friendly(?) than the first movie, especially when Venom talks to Eddie
This might show that Venom is really accepting Eddie not just as his host but also his friend

I watched it Thanksgiving with my family. Didn't really like how they changed carnage and Cletus not being a perfect match like in the comics (where they're so connected that they referrer to themselves as "I" instead of "we") but I understood why they had to do it

Notice that Carnage literally 'tears' Kasady apart when he takes over Kasady's body. However, Venom just comes 'on' Brock's body, like Tony Stark's nanotech suit. This goes to show that Venom actually had some sense and is actually respecting to its host, while Carnage is just a mindless monster who cares of no one (not even its host) and wants to create chaos all the time.

Carnage hides his host pretty well. So it makes sense why Venom couldn't punch Carnage neither Cletus
Carnage doesn't hide cletus, instead restructures all the cells and fuses with him. Venom just adds protective coating on Eddie. Infact that is the reason why Venom retracted into eddie and carnage didn't

that arm shaking was such a small detail that people could rarely notice but WHOLESOME that they added it, kinda mind blowing once you noticed it

hey awesome video again i just dissagree with one part, 6:40 i think that venom hides quicker when the bell rings because he knows the risk or danger of sound as seen in the first movie, carnage didnt grew up around symbiotes and wasnt part of a kinda military team.
I think the moment shows that venom is more expierenced then carnaged even if he might be more powerful
One more detail you missed. till this point every symbiote grows over the host, carnage is the only one which directly transforms the cleatus' body instead of covering it over.

Hi @CanadianLad you missed one detail. on the post credit scene, eddie took venom to a vacation and you can see eddie's bag on the floor, meaning, he actually rented that room but when they got transferred to the MCU, that version of the universe, there was already someone who rented the room they're in because they are now in a different universe. you can also see that before they got transported to the MCU, there were no towels folded like origami. the room is completely different and the radio is replaced with a lamp.
San Quentin Prison in the beginning part of the movie also appeared in the first Ant man movie where Scott Lang was held in.
