Was loving the OUAT and LOST snippets with the quote, right up until 1:53 when he started in with that junk about "forgiveness (of those who hurt you) is when healing starts." No it bloody isn't. Healing starts the minute you realize your worth, that you didn't deserve what was done to you if you were innocent, that you deserve a better, happy life and a better world, and you get ANGRY at anyone who is keeping you from it. That anger is the part of you that knows you deserve better, that loves you, and self love is where healing REALLY starts. Lilly Hope Lucario has some great quotes and one is that victim shaming is wrong and has to stop. You don't owe an abuser anything, and you don't have to forgive them to heal you. You just have to love yourself enough to demand better. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
