I am so thankful I had this done on C5,C6,C7 ....I Love My Neurology Surgeon!!!! I Love that he made a real difference in my life!!!!
+bubblestar3 Is he from Maryland? i need one
How long ago did you have it done? I had an L4/L5/S1 spinal fusion done 15 years ago and now have adjacent segment disease and pain in my lower back again as well as unrelated neck issues. Now I am preparing myself to have two surgeries in one day, but NO MORE fusions. They are doing a facetectomy and foraminotomy on my C5/C6 and a laminectomy on L3. I hate to say this, but I would never advise a fusion to anyone. It only weakens the discs above and below the fusion area and causes more problems down the road. There are other options. Disc replacement is one. I hope you have better luck with yours and never have issues down the road.
Dear Bubble, I am suffering from the same disorder, its manageable but i feel so low and emotionally sick, feels like a pressure on my brain and it hurts bad and fluctuation in my mood also happens, would you please like to tell that the surgery cost and after effects?
I am just 23 years
I'm set for 12/2018; C45, C67 ; severe foraminal and spinal stenosis
Its schedule to do this next month.. i hope the pain will be killed.. so i can live peaceful life again.
It's amazing the sort things people can do it the medical field, now.
Just had mine done on Wednesday C6-7
helal olsun türkiyede bakıyorum boyun düzleşme eğrilik vs ile ilgili bir tane video yok
I’m having mine done in two weeks on c5/6. I can’t wait!
Any updates? My c5/6 is herniated and I’m thinking about surgery
@@nightsphenom7122 yes I had surgery and feel much better. I’m located in Los Angeles and saw dr. Jason Cuellar. He and his team are incredible and he also has a practice in Miami. I felt a difference within weeks!
@@megangagnier845 what did you get your discs replaced with ?
I wish my surgeon had done this rather than three level laminectomy with no stabilizing cage xcxxx
The best
Proceed w/extreme caution to say "No!". My 2018 C5-6, C6-7 arthroplasties has too many bad outcomes: cervical "lordosis" (inward straight neck; limited stiff ROM); ongoing pain, and more.
I am supposed to get titanium implants in like my c5 c6 and c7 the spinal fluid in the left of my neck is about cutt off completely, I am terrified to get this surgery but seems I have no other option.
Traveled to Barcelona Spine Center Dr Clavel neurosurgeon for Spinal Kinetics M6 lumbar and two low profile ESP cervical Disc implants. 80% of pain stopped immediately. Paid cash no regrets. I got my life back. Europe is ten years ahead of US. Sounds odd, but the artificial disc was invented in Germany in the mid 70’s and has been the epicenter of spinal implant excellence. FDA is slow and $14 million to get approval. So the best implants are CE medical approved in Europe first. For example the Spinal Kinetics M6 has been the go to standard in Europe for 14 years. It just received approval for one level in the neck in 2019 in US. The US has been focused on old techniques using fusion, how sad.
My surgeon had performed 7700 implants with only two early on revisions. My M6 and ESP discs have a center nucleus that acts like a shock absorber when you walk there is an impact. Most US discs are hard materials and can transfer up to 100% of the energy through the spine. The problem is ASD Adjacent Segment Degeneration happens over time and wears out the next disc level. Same with fusion. My brothers former lady friend had to go back for more surgeries every few years for the next level up and was always in pain. I regret my 16 year old fusion and applaud technology and expertise that got my life back.
Wow. I didn't realize Europe was so far ahead of the States. I live in Canada and did think it was strange that FDA approval was so slow in the States for disc replacements - they only talk about "only 2 levels have been approved by the FDA" etc. I'll look at Europe instead, if I ever need one.
So far so good, im 2 months post op, i had a bit more pain that expected but it was mostly muscle pain. After a few days i was off pain meds and by two weeks i stopped nsaids daily and took them every other day. My only advice is if you have acid reflux to have Omeprazole ready at home, the intubation and moving my esophagus aside really irritated it and the reflux made the throat soreness recovery last longer than it should have
I got this done on Thursday I have pain but no headaches till now.
Keep us updated

Hey guys I have this problem where my neck bone shows but I walk straight could it be because I’m too skinny?
Talk to your doctor. You might need an X-ray to see what's going on.
I have had a herniated disc in my neck for 21 years, since I was 13 and now I am 34, and the circumstances do not allow for treatment (no money). I have tried a lot to straighten the neck vertebrae with exercises at home, but the neck is less long than the vertebrae. Are there exercises to lengthen the neck in the house?
I have problem in C3,4,5
The herniated disc ruptured
Then compress the my spinal cord
Exactly center point
I can't look at top side more than 1-2 mins
How are you now
Can this procedure done from the back as well? Anyone?
yes, but much better recovery when done from front.
Is 2 days are enjoy for post operative care??
what? The only reason to stay in the hospital after a surgery is for observation and wound care/infection control. People can recover at home, without costly hospital stays.
No. I'll stay on Meloxicam and Kratom. I'm 60 and been cut up way too much in my life for this...
interesting 👍

Can you play sports after this?
Jack Eichel is doing fine
I'm tired of hurting every day.
Hi Gary, have you had an X-ray or opinion from a surgeon?
,I have just had in November 2019 a acd+fusion it's now Feb 2021 I'm morphine and both arms are worse can't use left arm and pins needles numbness all over body my body is messed up. I've previously had 2acd fusion failed kneck surgery. So that's 3 in cervical. And will be 2 this year 2020 for lumber.
Can you please tell me? Please it's important....
Do you have bone TB??
So what happened?
Wow. They completely left out the part about monitoring for injury to the spinal cord during the procedure!
Yes and I have a bone spur sticking in mine. Getting surgery in a few months.
Please put an Arabic CC
