Eventually the cistern healing effect will stop being as effective due to the flasks running out.

I'm sure you were asked this before, but why not go Hippodrome if you're going all cavalry all in castle? Even if you don't build any horseman in Fuedal, you're still stacking up Triumph which seems way more useful than a mill/monastery
I experimented with a friend on French royal bloodlines knights vs cataphracts (both castle). The French Knights tore the cataphracts apart (on equal unit costs). I don't know how easy it is to get the upgrade in time though.

@@Thehoneybadger90 no the other one if you are staying with cats. free cats make life alot easier on the eco front. the siege one is great if you go javs for the camel buff, other wise with the siege nerf more troops is better in my opinion of course. free limitanei isn't a big deal but free cats on Vguard is with how gold heavy they are and byz has no access to infinite gold.
@traviscumbest3946 if an opponent is heavily into turtle style, it still can be great to have the siege landmark. also if you play vs delhi, since the french cannons rip elephants like no other siege.
I think that you don't have to put the cistern near the sheep to get the gathering rate bonus - the gathering bonus is given to the building you deposit your resources so anywhere you put the cistern, as long as the bonus range touches the building, you get the bonus
no that's not how it works. buildings get the improved stuff from the cistern that you choose, like tech speed or military prod speed. In the "circle aura", the workers get buffed and glow.

Like you can go watch a replay but you could also watch a guide and get more info about how the build works. Like for instance watching a guide on byzantine limitanei javs into castle timing will let you know that its not necessarily an all in all the time
I got hit with this from a guy straight 200 elo below me and got obliterated. Indeed quite strong. Unfortunately this build is also extremely simple to execute wich makes it very frustrating to play against. And yes beasty, your influence on the game is quite obvious as i always watch out for ur guides just to know what i gonna have to expect from my opponents. But thats a good thing, it speaks for the quality of your content, that i also enjoy alot. Good guide though.
Byzantiness are most fun to play civ but for me it's kinda gample :D + I am not good play - casual guy mostly btw I like how you play with them... and that cavalry of bizanties are just to OP - but for real
Im not even surprised, just another all in massing 1 unit diving under tc/destroying opponent game without having 1-1 counter-answer, another more to the list: English all in, french all in, byz all in, zxu all in, HRE all in, or even mongol all in. Strong eco civs with empowered units and on top of that feudal landmarks working as stable/archery who saves you build time and more resources, and half of them armored units who can dve under tc with 0 risk. Im main ottoman and im skipping all in matches all of them, so enjoy your free mmr boys, you are the best!

Feels bad skipping Hippodrome even when the plan is to go full cavalry. Wonder what they can do to help that landmark.
Thought same thing but winery just too valuable with like 3 sets of mercs by time you start pumping cataphracts
