Wow, I remember my dad and I, probably over fifteen years ago, walking into a pawn shop, and picking up a VHS copy of this. It’s always stuck out in my mind since that first watch. Quite a bizarre film in some ways, but I think it overall works pretty well, and stands out in the genre.

One of those “rare form” Romero films! 👍🏻 Note: The nurse (Christine Forrest), was Romero’s second wife, married, at the time, when movie was filmed. She had a small part, at the beginning tv broadcast scene, of “Dawn of the Dead” (1978)

@DrumDums I’m gonna have to check this out, I’ve never seen any Romero films before but this sounds interesting and damn, I had no idea that was Stanley Tucci when you showed a picture of him, to be fair I was born in 1997 so way after this movie but, I’m used to for lack of a better term seeing the older and bald Stanley Tucci in newer movies like The Silence on Netflix, which if you have never seen that one it’s a Netflix Original horror movie that has Stanley Tucci in it as the dad and it is very similar to something like A Quiet Place but, it’s just different enough that it’s pretty damn intense especially for a Netflix Original horror flick that you don’t expect much from going in.
I also recommend a pretty damn good vampire flick that’s a Netflix original called Blood Red Sky it’s basically vampires on a plane instead of Snakes on a plane or something like that but, it’s super intense and really good for a Netflix original horror flick in my opinion as well.
So there’s a couple good ones to add to your list if you haven’t seen either and hopefully that army of darkness retrospective is coming soon Lee, since you said hopefully last month but, it just didn’t happen so, here’s to hoping you can get it done this month but, we shall see.
