Looking at the Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest 3 the market is more going towards thinner VR glasses with the ability of high quality AR features. AR glasses are just normal glasses with displays, nothing more.

I have just bought mine and I don't have thick prescription glasses but they do impede my viewing to the extent that I am thinking of sending the Xreal back. I know I can use the supplied blank frame to give to an optician but that is another £100! I would appreciate your thoughts on this.
He’s a “partner of xreal” not going to give a negative answer. It’s hard to actually find a non biased (partnership ie paid) review of this product. I own a pair. They’re awesome. Several of my friends who wear glasses and tried mine also had experiences ranging from no problem to serious issues.
I have had these for a week and they are annoying me. The Beam sometimes expands the screen but usually doesn't. When I try to connect with the Switch it does not either. I agree, most reviewers have sold their soul to a company to promote a product. I know everyone has to make a living but not being true to yourself is the bigger crime here. I could not in all honesty review something that I was not able to review with integrity. Knowing that someone out there might throw away their money on something I said to be good would make me someone I am not. Who knows, maybe low-subbed RUclipsrs have to be this way to get to a significant amount of subscribers to be able to be more assertive with sponsors. These are best for travel, gaming, laying in bed and watching tv on the ceiling, flying drones and getting that vr fpv experience but still see it so can legally fly solo still without a spotter. AR will take off in the future when they eye track and will be smart enough to do things like if you stare at his hat or shirt it will scan it and find it online who sells it, how much money and who wore it etc. this will be the AR of the future where AR glasses finally get mass produced like smart watches

I find it fascinating how you left out the fact that the viewing angle in the version 2 is much smaller than the version 1. Its obvious as soon as you wear them. You know this and you conveniently left it out. There are so many people complaining about this on amazon reviews. The viewing angle on the v2 is a major downgrade from the v1.
You'll need prescription lens. Other glasses do have built-in adjustment. As I've heard them compared, one must adjust the Rokid Max a tiny bit each time they put it on, but if you have the prescription insert, no readjustment is needed.
These glasses are cool but then what would be the point of having a screen on your handheld if you will be using these glasses. This company should make a screen less handheld and the glasses will be the screen.
Internet is full of independent studies regarding the health issues coming from using theese devices. It's fun and all to try it a few times, but that's it. Stay healthy !!
