      I always love your nails! But these are particularly pretty .. for a particularly pretty bracelet!
      I tried designing something just like this a couple of years ago, but I thought it was a fail because each 'set' was 'cupping' instead of laying flat .. but you've made a feature of it and so I couldn't wait to pull out my 'failed' project and just finish it!!! It's in gold-coated seed beads with the 15/O's in dark green, and gorgeous 'celadon' 4mm Presciosa Crystals. So pretty! Thank you, Gina!!

    I used all 8/0 seed beads in this design and used 4mm fire polish since they where all I had on hand. I used 11/0 seed beads in place of the 15/0 and then added 2 mm and 15/0 down the side of the bracelet attaching them through the 8/0 stickyouty beads along on the outside edge. It turned out great! I working on another where I want to make it double the width so it will be a two strand bracelet. I'll let you know how it urns out.

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  4 года назад

      Fabulous! Many times modifications are good. I designed a partial piece with 11/0s between the the 8/0 sticky-outies and then connected multiple chains and a magnetic clasp, turned out great. This design is easy to modify. I am glad you were able to use what you had on hand.

    This is really pretty. I totally follow how you're making each segment/unit thanks to your terrific tutorial. I'm just wondering though, is there any reason you would recommend against stitching the full length of the 3 wide 11/0 bead square stitch, then add the 8/0's on both sides and finally go back and add in the 15/0's and the crystals (or fire polish beads)? To me, it seems like I'd make more progress more quickly 'cuz I'd get into a rhythm for each step and sail through them faster. Thoughts?

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  4 года назад +2

      I feel like if you do that it might not lay right, each segment needs the previous segment finished to hold the shape of the tiny bezels. But, I could be wrong.the only way to know is to try it😁

    • @GinasGemCreations
      @GinasGemCreations  4 года назад +1

      Use a jewel gauge to measure the clasp. But the size of the clasp doesn’t matter, just leave enough space to connect it, you can tell buy placing the piece you are making on you wrist, leave enough space for the connection and clasp.

    I am a newbie beader, I am almost finished with my very first one and I am in LOVE! I do have one question. At the beginning when you finish a unit you end up with the thread coming up the column of 11/0s but when it gets to length and it is time to put the second wire guardian on the thread is coming out of the bottom of the column of 11/0s. For the life of me I cannot figure out how to have my thread coming out of the bottom.
