when I watch them, I just be cheesin back! Takes me back to when we were classy and elegant when we went out to have a good time. Ladies enjoyed being ladies; and men enjoyed us. We were treated with dignity and respect and nobody got hurt because nobody wasn't with anyone they didn't wanna be with. You'd go to the club, have a few drinks and dance the night away; and if you were lucky: a dance turned into a romance!
Those were the days, my friend. And when it's all said and done, I'm just grateful for the music and the memories.

Stepping was my favorite dance...MY man dance just like Victor smooth and show off and I could keep up with him...People would say we both dance just alike....I was born and raise in Chicago my favorite club was the ...President....on 75th St Jimmy Lee..known as Muscle was the D.J. now I moved to Louisiana.... Now I 2 step and dyzeco and am older now...everyone Victor keep stepping u very good brought back memories way back when....I use say I never goin home Muscles would say u be here by yourself...bye see u next week Friday

I just got through watching this video again and I still say steppin is more graceful with great music and great dancers. It just
has a better flow of movement than ballroom dancing.

This brings me back to 1975. I know, I'm dating myself but at least back then we knew how to dance together partnering without it having to be a slow song. A man that knows how to lead a woman on the dance floor, with a woman who knows How to follow will look like they've been on 'Broadway' the changes are so smooth. Bravo, for bringing this style of dance back for our young people to see REAL dancing.
