I have driven the etron 55 for over 2 years, last week it had to go into my local Audi dealer for a repair to the ccs port (long Story). They lent me a q8 etron for a week. The ride has definitely been tweaked a little and for the better. The wing mirror cameras are definitely not worth it. Apart from adjusting your line of sight the screen embedded in the door is very dull and difficult to see in bright light. The adaptive cruise control is very good indeed and better than 2019 outing. I have the Bang and Olufson sound system which is so much better than Audi standard system worth the upgrade..
I rented a Honda e with the camera side mirrors. At night in the rain, I could see absolutely nothing in the side view monitors. It was dangerous. I would be curious to see a review under such conditions of these camera side view mirrors. Was it just the Honda e, or is this a fundamental weakness of the technology? With the rain, rain drops would fall on the camera lenses generating major diffraction and rendering them useless. I was astonished that this was legal.

Whoever compare a Tesla to an etron....have likely upgrades from cheaper cars to a Tesla and find it wonderful. I know of no one in the last nearly 9 years of Tesla being in the UK, who has bought and kept a Tesla if they were driving a Mercedes or an Audi. It's just such poor quality, the ride, the interior, the suspension, my wife's 11 year old audi has a better suspension than a new Model Y. If you have gone from a premium Audi or Merc to Tesla and are loving it....please do share
Good review. A bit surprised by your (lack of) efficiency. I get 2.9 on my 2019 e-torn 55. Then again, on my first long road trip, I got 290 miles per charge rather than the official 209 when driving in Efficiency mode.
Then you are a good driver predicting the road. This means you will get great efficiency in all cars which does not detract from the official and real world stats for the Audi etron compared with other cars.

Well the new soon to be lotus SUV, the new BMW IX M60, the new Cadillac lyriq... those are better than this to name some of the big brands, 2024 BYD tang, HipHi, Nio suv, genesis... there are lots.. the thing is you cannot get those in US or the UK...

I like the Audi ev models and almost bought one. But the range needs improvement and they need to get rid of the door handles. It's petty I know but the handles are for those who want to drive an EV that doesn't "look like" an EV. If I'm spending $70k plus for an EV. I want people to know it, just by the look.
Edmunds site has the real world range figures for most EVs. Some exceed their EPA figures and some fail. That doesn't solve your need to virtue signal though. Just paint the words EV on the side of the car to let everyone know you are saving the planet 😂
I think so. The Enyaq, though good, is lacking. Lots of plastic, puny instrument cluster ala VW ID's, its a no frills family hauler. If considering an Enyaq, I would audition Tesla Model Y. However if looking for something nicer, I would look at Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Lexus. The Q8 is a significant step up in quality (and price of course).
My wife has a sports version of the ENYAQ. The Audi is nicer but if you don’t need the space you could look at the new Q6 e-tron. Mind you you are not going to save any money, it is quite pricey.

Después de mis quejas Audi España ,al mes me contestó que lo mirarían , después de (6 meses en el taller con distintas pruebas ), me dijeron que el coche estaba perfecto, que es así. Una estafa Audi y su publicidad , lamentable su servicio postventa. No comprare un Audi o Volkswagen en la vida. Otra cosa , es un coche diseñado gasolina con una batería eléctrica, no te marca ni el porcentaje de bateria en el cuadro tienes que entrar en menu etc, tampoco marca otros muchos datos que si hacen los eléctricos, no parecía electrico en cuestión de información que te ofrece el cuadro. Es el vehículo electrico menos eficiente que hay en el mercado.

Imo I test drove the e-tron before buying the model x plaid and sorry nut there a lot of plastic & cheap material. And the e-tron can't beat the plaid acceleration & speed and charging network and the tech I'm sorry but what you're saying isn't true. I won't trade in my plaid for the e-tron

No mention of the Model Y? It's massively cheaper, has more range, faster charging, more charger availability, much bigger boot and better trip planning software. If you think the Audi's comfort and interior quailty is worth the extra cost and compromises then say so, but to not mention it seems like a glaring omission.

we have the ioniq 5 with the camera mirrors, and those are still visible even in heavy rain

I've tried both and the model Y isn't in the same class. Much smaller with really cheap interior and a poor ride. Obviously more efficient though.
