I went straight on my wizzy after this vid, and this build is so much fun. I'm running zap instead of Ice Both though as im not a big fan of Ice Bolt. CNG with the Meta on lock as always!
I'm loving the new perk. I'm running arcane shield with MM, invis, zap, fireball, and chain/icebolt.

That's nice. I've been trying to use staff but you still need some decent hp and defense before engaging more heavy melee classes.
Is it just me or the caster wizard is really weak right now without good gear?
It has always been weak without gear, just go bonk early 🧙♂️

I though that with the nerf on staff was sht the bonk . Maybe its good on earlier but not on future. But im not afraid with barb. Not on melee. On distance always vs a good mage

Yeah you need a bit of knowledge you can drop overload for ice shield
What about fighting a cutthroat rogue?
Use ignite and have staff out, everytime you walk into a new room or feel danger, you win 1v1
i believe 10 spell is better, in a 1v1 i think id win with +11 true
magic missle is so broken rn at close range
Against Wizard I usually use only Zap and with arcane shield (+20hp) it’s pretty easy to win

This pls. Melee/bonk wizard is so incredibly boring.
But caster is back, this is just if you get tired of rogues and barbs destroying you. He said it is a hybrid, and he gets to cast a lot. Rn you dont need to use bonk with mid gear, and caster should be how it is now with no gear because then it would be broken if it was great with no gear as it scales up with the more gear you get
I hate this wizard meta tbh.
You can run overload with 5 spells and intense if you prefer casting works too 👍

this build only works against shitters
The build is really strong, + 8 all attributes makes you tanky and fast AND x2 spells charges you'll never run out of spells. All this was not possible before and it was why the build was weak against decent players. But not anymore.
