The fact that you get a pump shotgun as a reward is silly. I think it would have been better if she gave you the double barrel, considering there's only 1 of them in the first episode, and that's in the other secret level. Neat level though.

It is an upgraded shoty. Sprite is slightly different and gun itself is fuster or something but there is a upgrade to it for sure.
It has a bit more punch
