I've almost forgotten about squeaks and rattles. I have a 2013 Mazda CX 5 and to this day zero of either. Guess I'm just lucky, car has 150 thousand km.
Hi Judy. Mazda are also great cars. They they probably both have a good enginered and well built car and design. I have been having alot of Toyota’s, and this is basically the first one that feels a bit cheap interior wise, and also the first to have this squeeks and rattles. But overall, quite happy with the car.
Hi Mike H. Thanks for your comment. It is optional to watch. I still have the car and it is working fine, but some of the issues is worth mentioning if somebody else also experience the same issues or faults. Have a nice day😀
I appreciate anyone who makes a review though. I pick up my RAV4 in May and you got me worried about niggling issues like yours. Hope you continue to enjoy your car.
@@mikeh.6976 good to hear that! Gratulations on your new car😀 Yes still enjoy my car. Have fixed the issued my self concerning the squeky sound in the doors, and I have a time at the dealership in some weeks to fix the rest. The car have been good, and it is very efficient. Last weekend I drove from north of Norway to home again endinng up with only using 0,39L/10KM in average. Really good milage. And with whole family and luggage in the car. So yes, still enjoy the car. Missing some of the extra space but all in all a great reliable car.
Good morning NZ time. I have the 2022 Rav4 Adventure Hybrid. I’ve now listened twice to your review. My vehicle is Japanese assemble. Many of those issues seems to be quality related. Eg, speaker rattle at back and volume knobs coming adrift to mention just 2. Toyota need to come to the party. Personally I don’t have exaggerated man-spread issues as my leg rubbing on middle console, lol. Humour forgive me. The large gear knob is manly as opposed to a sissy rotary dial. Personal choice. My trim level has lit up lights for door and window controls at night. For people who have skis. I have a roof rack, anyway there is ample room or a work around in the back. Plastic cover missing, yes I agree that is unforgivable. No big deal in starting up noise for me. I think your point of the dial type button switches in the steering wheel is valid. The voice activation system works well although it’s not a world beater. I’m forever asking people at the back if they’re comfortable and they says there’s plenty of room. Mind you I can move seat all the way back and a far way forward if I have too. My seat belt does not rattle. For me I agree the droney CVT can be off putting. I’m only 176 cm and getting in and out is a slight issue. For anyone over 6ft 4, perhaps another SUV would be better. And yet my 6ft 3in South African friend can get in and out easy. Go figure, lol. The auto wipers and auto lights is not 100% perfect, but you can override with manual switches. I personally feel when you test drove the vehicle, many of those complaints and issues should have been picked up by you. All I can say is the RAV4 I have is truly outstanding for the value. And I accept your right to speak your mind and I commend you Sir for doing so. Cheers from NZ.
sounds like you needed a bigger car like a highlander instead, especially if you have kids. squeaks and rattles should of been fixed at the dealership, unless your warranty is over.

Did he specify year and trim of his RAV4? Looks like a Hybrid, but which one?
One of the most negative and depressing car reviews I have ever seen.

Why did you buy it if there’s so much you don’t like? I bet your daughter doesn’t whine as much as you do.
Why did you buy it get rid of it if it’s that bad
