Love your AOW4 stuff. I have a request, if you're interested: I've been theorycrafting a build that uses prosperity, paradise and transmutation to get the biggest and richest late game cities. The only issue is that I'm finding it hard to decide on a pure gold upkeep military composition utilising all of that nature and Imperium, and also benefiting from T5 tomes. Do you think there's a practical build in there, somewhere? I would love to see your take on this!
Another great build. And special thanks for the tip about the synergy with Dragonic Rage. But I disagree with you on one point: There is no "I can't" with the Oathsworn Cultures, in your case declaring war. That's not a problem at all, as long as you can compensate for the loss of devotion. There are several ways to do that, in your case easy by Infestation milking. Of course, you are still limited because you should compensate for the loss of devotion.
Nice add-on towards the Oathpoint spending for wars. Overall this build does have a much easier time to expand differently though I'd say. But yeah, if you need to declare War you can. I'd strongly recommend though to wait until you won't fall from Paragon Level due to this cause the T3 Archers are SO much stronger on Paragon it isn't even funny anymore. This "Nuke Pacification Shot" is ridiculous. And yeah, Infestation milking makes this build go crazy definitely. I usually don't run builds like these cause I find it a bit too min-maxy but I definitely don't judge (and giving it honorable mentions cause of that ^^). Oathsworn are an odd bunch, but they definitely feel stupidly strong somehow.
@@Ic0nGaming Sure, expansion (via war) is easier with other cultures. Yes, I usually wait to take oath-breaking actions until I have reached the Paragon level. But in some cases it makes more sense not to wait. Infestation milking (via Incite Revolution) was just an extreme example that you don't have to use, depending on your taste. For example, declaring war right before purifying an Ancient Wonder compensates for the loss of devotion somewhat. Or purifying an existing normal infestation. In that case you have to pay attention to the timing, so it is a limitation. The Oathsworn cultures severely restrict the way you play, which is very unusual for AoW4. But they are also strong. Which doesn't surprise me from a business perspective, they want to attract players with new DLC content, a balance patch may comes later.
Damn, you are really cranking out these builds! Well done. No Ritualist??!! What a surprise! Hoping to see a hybrid class some day. *Cough*... Deathknight... *Cough*... What is your view on Oathsworn Strife? I see you don't have as many builds on them like on Righteousness and Harmony. I know that Cult of Personality had a bit of a rework which must make builds with it a bit more difficult? But would this trait still be viable on your older builds (before the change,) like the Dragon Paladin, Ranged Reavers and Primal Dune Serpents that have this trait?
I like Strife, but in comparison it is generally the weakest variant of the Oathsworn cultures. Because its bonus for units, the fire damage from Warrior's Soul, is only available if you do not outnumber your opponent in battle. This is a limitation that Harmony and Righteousness do not have. But if you play with a focus on raiding provinces and razing cities, it is still an interesting culture. It is a path to pure evil that you can also use in other ways, e.g. with Scions Of Evil. I played through two games with different Strife Choosen Destroyer builds. It worked very well and was a lot of fun. But Choosen Destroyer is more challenging and cannot be compared to normal playthroughs.
lol I love all the builds. Is there anything decent to try with Umbral disciples? Seems like no one uses that for anything. Running a bunch of umbral units looks like it could be kind of fun.
Comment for algorithm because more people should see your stuff!
I’ve been playing your builds for a couple weeks now and it has really improved my enjoyment of the game. Keep it up.
That is one badass dragon the AI created for your thumbnail!
And he is free to use via the link in the description box =)
Comment for the algorithms because i really enjoy your videos and these build guides. Keep it up
Just awesome builds
Thank you! Lol on 'no ritualist' :)
