Early Skrewdriver is the shit but they basically turned into a straighforward rock band and they started existing merely as a Nazi promotional tool and not for their music. Listen to "I Don't Like You" and then "White Warriors" and you will see what I mean
All Skrewed Up was an amazing Oi! record. Then, like the other commenter stated, they became more of a promotional tool for White Supremacist movements and the music took a backseat to the politics. The *ONLY* semi-decent album Skrewdriver released after becoming Nazi rock was "Hail the New Dawn" & even that is only really "good" if you're trying to pick fights and piss off politically correct types.
Well the clash have a song called Spanish bombs which celebrates the republican side of the Spanish civil war. They also have an album called Sandinista! Which is named after communists in Nicaragua. So if that doesn't make them st least commission symoathisers I'm not sure what does.
