Interesting. I mean, play the game however it makes you happy, so I support you. (In the comments, so you're welcome for my making a difference.) But out of curiosity: My dude, *why*?
There are a lot of Genshin characters whose C1-C2 are impactful for the character gameplay. Hu Tao C1, Raiden C2, Kazuha C2, Nahida C2, Nilou C2, Neuvillette C1, Wriothesley C1, Chiori C1(! - a must have for her actually), Wanderer C1&2, Clorinde C1&2, Xilonen C2.... all good.
The right thing to do is to get E6S1 Robin and then you already have 1 very powerfull team that can be used for very long time (that 120k++ dmg per action is nuts man 😂). Just slap in Tingyun & Pela and you are ready to go (of course with wind set)
Very well explained. I'm new to HSR (3 months in) and I would say definitively that Lingsha made / saved my account. She fits on basically every team and is really good on super break teams (my account doesn't have Gallagher or Ruan Mei), so pairing her with HMC is the core of an easy early game team that needs only two more members. I added Rappa later and then Himeko, Serval, Herta take up the last spot. Now there's no early game or story content that I cannot clear. But it would not have been possible without HMC and Lingsha. Now I can basically pull for whoever I want. And yeah I know I need a second team at some point, but I'm not there yet in the end game. So I can take my time.
With powercreep is the main flavors for HSR, horizontal investment is better for f2p. Having C6 for limited 5 star is no longer in f2p tier account, you gotta play for a long time to have that, and not pulling anything for at least a year, so C2 is the best "vertical" for f2p because you can still have more meta units to grab and have fun with.
Idk how long it is between Acheron first banner and her rerun but I make my second acc during her first banner and didn't pull anyone untill her rerun. Now I have e6s1 acheron
My account of Day 1: Harmony: Robin, Ruan Mei, Sparkle, Bronya DPS: Feixao, Acheron, Clara, Seele, Jade, Black Swan Sustain: Fu Xuan, Advenurine, Stelle , that green fox healer My acc is quite stack and a variety except the builds are mid due to RNG. I can at least keep up with all the contents. One that I'm lacking is superbreak but my Acheron can ignore that. My suggestion is just pull whichever units and team type that you are comfortable with. The game will force you to pull each patch and its important not to feel burden by it. Enjoy the game as it is. The game gave you an advice in the beginning. If there's a ever a day where you will be given a choice, choose the one you wont regret.
Yep, that's the plan I've been going with for a while now. Got E1 RM, now trying to snipe E2 Sparkle and E1 Robin for my dps(Seele, Jingliu, Ratio, etc)
My experience as a very low spender. Horizontal is better than vertical. With how quickly they powercreep new units, it’s just better to keep getting new ones rather than invest in a few who are getting outshined. I did this with Kafka (S1) and Black Swan (E1) and not only are they not that good anymore, but i also know that they could release a new dot unit any moment now to replace one of them or both.
i wouldnt worry about kafka since she is one of the fewer characters that will always remain relevant if not core for dot teams because of her skill and burst detonation. even if they release a unit with an identical ability meant to directly powercreep her, having two detonators either together or in separate teams would still be massive. i also have a relatively well invested dot team with e1s1 kafka so im clinging onto the hope that the dot archetype eventually gets revived with amphoreus.
I am a dolphin who just buys the monthly and battle pass and a week one player, I love being able to skip 70% of the cast and going E2S1 on choice characters, the power spikes feels so good
As a relatively new HSR player this is how I've been thinking about building my account. 2-3 limited dps with good teamates to start with all at mostly e0s0 or s1 depending on how good their LC is and then focus on eidolons that are on the level of e2 acheron or generic supports like e1 robin. I started in 2.6 so I unfortunately missed the Fe Xiao/Robin banners but have picked up Rappa and Aventurine. With Fugue looking like Rappa's best teammate in a lot of scenarios and no guarantee of the next ruan mei banner I intend to pick up her to "complete" my superbreak team and then focus on what 3.x brings us
Ive recently decided to play star rail seriously after been burned out of genshin and juggling 3 gachas at the same time. This is kinda what I need to hear. My account is pretty bad, f2p, struggling with all 3 endgame content, mostly focused on Follow Up Attack units like feixiao, robin and recently aventurine. I want to make an Firefly super break team with ruan mei to brute force most of the content if possible, since ruan mei and robin are the only "must pull" characters in this game currently, and so... since ruan mei's best team is super break I will try to make a decent 1 or 2 teams. Now that Remembrance is an actual playable path, probably focused on summons, I will see if I can make 1 or 2 teams with the new dps unit from remembrance that will release next year.
Dude if you have a c6 character, you're not free to play even if you didn't pay real money. It just makes you a long term player and you will be on the same level with someone who just started and swiped. So basically if you're giving this advice to a long term player (Which I'm sure you're not) this just feels misplaced. (If it is to new players)
That is a strange take,. So, if you invest your time and do not spent money, you're not free to play. So, nobody is F2P because that is what people who don't spend money exchange, they exchange time. Sounds like you're using the standard of casual player, not F2P on a gacha game, which is not like a traditional game.
@RygarFang1599 the whole point of this video is for newer players. You can totally get a character to E6 f2p but that takes time and resources that newer players don't have.
@@RygarFang1599 I understand I violated the words meaning but people don't use the term free to play literally, they mean and widely use it as using cheap resources to building or reach a certain objectives. Once you start using an E6 character you break the rule because you can still be f2p but you no longer are using a cheap resource
I only use Male DPS characters, so I don't really have many options.
So, you can use female support, correct? Or is a male only account?
@@RygarFang1599 female support like jade subdps and ruan mei is fine yeah. I just want my dudes to be doing the damage!
That’s so sad

early eidolons in hsr are usualy better than genshin early constelations...i think.
Very true some can even change a characters play style completely
Seele E1 is horrible, it got better over time

Interesting. When I started, way back, I dual sustain the story content Bailu + PTB. Glad things are well, hope you continue to enjoy the game.

But are they still viable in completing the current endgames with a relatively good score? In the Kafka Black Swan Ruan Mei and Huohuo team I mean
You choose the worst example. To me it is depends on character. Acheron and robin is worth to vertical invest
@ I didnt choose the “worst example”, it’s MY example, my only experience… you can apply it to a different context.
this is actually helpful info for me I would really consider this tysm
