Pretty late but wow great find.
The name of the console is nectochime
Do you think this is possible to do an extract of the menu as is?
With homebrew, it's possible to take the nand and...extract the firmware and get an image of that 1.0 version. But someone that knows has to do it
currently getting some contents of the nand if he does the twilight hack
all i got is the romaji for the console name, ne to chi me (ねとちめ) i don't know enough japanese to know what it means
it’s just a name, that’s all
Mingling is greyed out because you don't have Travel enabled. You can enable it from the Mii parade
no way.. you got the most rarest thing ever

ねとちめ
netochime
what it means? no idea
homebrewing that shi will go crazy
Do the discs in the disc channel spin differently?
I have an RVL-001 US console, but I don't know if it was launch model, it could be though, I just have the latest firmware for the wii (I also homebrewed it) It says Copyright 2006 Nintendo.
Have you tried changing system language?
Japanese Wiis don't have an option to change the language because Nintendo is special.
@@slitherysheep awww rip
@@slitherysheepcan't on a Wii U either. Very cool Nintendo
Tbf it probably would've not been efficient to do so since almost everyone in Japan speaks Japanese.
If there were different languages, they'd probably be Korean, Mandarin (due to those being the most prominent diaspora languages), and *maybe* English.
It's the same for European Wiis which only had English, European French, and German iirc. (I imagine American Wiis only had English, Québécois French, and Spanish)
@@raeesrichards6786PAL Wiis also had a respective Spanish language. Most of PAL games also would be translated/dubbed in Spanish if your console was set to Spanish, where as NTSC wouldn't.
nice
You must be proud that you own a launch Japanese Wii that hasn’t been updated after all these years. You don’t see those often anymore.
3:48 Netochime?
We need you back in Minecraft Wii U
fun fact my wii says the same thing but it isn't still in 1.0
Why there is a ATI (maybe graphics card?) logo here?
cool!
Another change is that there is no notch on the bottom of the Wii menu
The clock was added a lot later, 2.0 or 3.0 I think.
Where did you got it ?
Yahoo auctions
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG WHAT A RARE FIND@@slitherysheep

@@NatetheNintendofan No, I only got the console and the operations manuals. No discs.
@@slitherysheepDid they have knowledge of the firmware or was it just junk in their mind?
