I had an old friend I lost, they were great friends with me, we were lovers at some point, but they found someone else and began talking to me less. When my mother had passed away, I kept trying to reach out to them for help since I was grieving, but they never did help, so when I threatened to end the friendship because we had grown distant, they came back, if only for a few hours, those hours were nice, but it happened again, they left once more.
When I got sick of being left behind and such, I cut off from them, but I was in regret, I kept trying to reach out to them, but when they declined and I accepted it, I had landed on my feet and taken it well. I am surrounded by amazing people, I am thankful for each one of them, and I am still getting over this old friend, but I will be alright.
I just want to clear up, they aren't the villain, they aren't a bad person, they're absolutely lovely, it's just, we grew apart, and they weren't there for me when I needed them the most. I hope that they live a good life to be honest, but you never know.
