    Glad you’re doing better! I know it’s like 4 years post op. Your pain must’ve been really bad in order to go thru surgery. Peace ✌

      Thanks. The worst part was that it disturbed my sleep. Then I had to do something.

      Sorry to hear that. See if you can find a good orthopedic doctor in your area and have it checked out.

    Hi Adam. Tomorrow i'll be 4 weeks after my plantar aproach sirurgy. I feel "nervouse" pain when I stretch my foot and when I put it on the flour. My doctor Said to me to drive but I cannot and it seems that he's too "relaxed" regarding my condition. He said that I should put my foot on salted Water and massage the foot. If the fibrose does not go away I shoud go to a physiatric doctor (I' m sorry for my English). I know that you did a dorsal approach sirurgy and the recovery might be a little differente, but did you felt these kind of pain or sensations ? How are you now? Kind regards.

      fazinha hello. Yes my foot felt tight for a while. Tough to move the toes or bend the foot. Recovery takes a while. The doctor said that bones skin and muscle are predictable when it comes to recovery. But nerves are not predictable. They prescribed me gabapentin which does help the nerve pain. Ask your doctor about it. I did get some nerve pain after the surgery almost the same pain I had pre surgery which is scary. Things have improved a lot for me lately but it’s been around 10 months post surgery now. There were some ups and downs. Hang in there. It does get better!!

      Hello- I recommend to consult with your doctor. I iced my foot as much as possible post surgery. And I did use some prescription pain killers that my doc prescribed me. Please talk to your doctor about these options and hang in there it will get better over time.

    You claim you are able to walk more. Is that with a walking boot?

    • @adamscastle6222
      @adamscastle6222  Год назад

      I didn’t use a walking boot. I just walked using my heel most of the time, trying to keep pressure off of the front the foot.

      @@pzazzera you would expect some pain in the area where the surgery was, it’s probably still healing. It takes a while to heal because the nerves were cut, and nerves are unpredictable.
      As long as you are seeing gradual improvements then that is the right direction. Certainly talk with your doctor if the pain gets worse.
