You won 8 matches, not easy draw, great tournament 👏
Also made it inside the top 30, we should see a lot more of her this year.
I am happy for her. Not easy to play three (3) in qualifiers and reach this far.
Eight matches in all. Great performance.
Tough competitor. Hope to see more of her in Grand slams. Ukrainian players have fire in their eyes and that's true grit.
Fire or hatred?
@@djordjenikolic9059 fire of hatred.
It was such a great match between the two. Was really confused who to cheer for bc I love them both! I knew when Dayana first came on tour with her aggressive game & world class shots that she can compete at the top level. Although she was met with some setbacks & injuries, I’m glad she’s finally able to play at the level we knew she would. I hope to see her at the top.
Not that great. This girl got more to give and wasn't at her best.
Thank you, Dayana. Great run! Keep going.
Great run and match. You will will win a grandslam for sure. Loved your answer. Will live in the moment. Your smile and joy is inspiration.
A huge credit to Dayana to come this far all the way through qualifying. Left no fuel in the tank and gave what she could!
Proud of you❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great tournament! It will be great seeing her fire power on main WTA tour. Needs mental strength to keep solid level and grow with humility
Даяна молодчинка 🎉❤
Дякую за чудову гру 🎾
💙💛 Слава Україні!!!
She claims that she had some stomach pain if it wasn't the case, she would have won the match against Qinwen She also claims that Qiqwen will win easily against Aryna Sabalenka, meaning that she would wipe the floor with Aryna had she reached the Final! I think I am a little bit delusional! 🤔🤭
I think she was just saying that Zheng is capable of beating Sabalenka. Remember, English is not her first language. I have heard many press conferences over the years in which players made some strange statements in English that they clearly did not mean exactly as was stated in English. Also, many players have said they would have played better and possibly won after having some health problems that interfered with their performance. Serena and Ostapenko (just to name a few) often stated that they should have won a match they lost. Also, her record against the top 5 players is very surprising. Yastremska is 1-0 against Swiatek, 3-0 against Sabalenka, and 1-0 against Pegula. She has never played the other top 5 players (Gauff and Rybakina).
@@888drpepper Her winning against these top players means she meant what she said & it was not the problem of English as you tried to defend her! I have also learned that she has a habit of feigning health issues whenever she is trailing behind & Kyros had choice words for her after she did that to his then-girlfriend!
Zheng won the match because she has improved in many facet of the game, for start she was mentally more mature in this match. In term of her play she had greater consistency with her shots and she had excellent depth and pace with her shots, Dayana was caught off balanced a number of time and was not allowed to play the type of aggressive tennis that she likes, remember the game that Zheng broke in the 2nd set the depth of Zheng's return shots were well placed Dayana could not even get the ball back into play. Zheng also displayed improved defensive skills in 4:3 game in the 2nd set, some of her forehand slap shots stayed low and made Dayana to hit that extra shots. Zheng is now a much better match player than she was a year ago, she is learning to put in well placed defensive shots by adding more clearance over the net and deeper as oppose to just hitting winners. I

Great post, why put this in the loser’s press conference? It’s gloating over a loser

Ukraine is proud of you Dayana! We wish you further victories! follow and applaud! Odessa is Ukraine!!🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦❤️❤️❤️❤️

на 7:42 без " *лять " не обійшлося ))))))
You are beatiful 😍
She is very pretty I wish someone would’ve told her that the word was loss not lose, and I feel like that everyone when they are learning to speak English better they appreciate when somebody explains to them how they grammatically being incorrect, but people don’t have the courage to do that which is so silly.
No respect for Aryna Sabalenka. Disgusting
Sadly true
most of the ukrainian players are 👎🏼
@@Irishb0y please dont do hate. Karma is a bitch
Ukrainian players should separate Russian government with normal Russian people especially this is a professional sport
@@nena273It's true, tennis players did not go to fight but they only play tennis. They way Ukranian professionals act is quite sad and pathetic.
Given the history she has been accused of abusing medical timeout by number of players, she couldn't speak correctly the word medical timeout. I find that’s funny.
😂😂😂
She even banned by doping.
@@PL-qs1ig For the record, she’s cleared in the end.
@@terencewong4687 what the color of her urine?
That was so calculated🥱

Great he’s out, so lucky he went that far playing easy opponents
zheng had easier draw)
@@nadiiasierhieieva1902 ...Sabalenka´s draw was easier...Swiatek the Top one had the hardest draw...
You wouldn’t happen to be Russian would you? Beating Wimbledon champ in the 1st round is an easy draw???
@@Markph7 vondurosova is clearly out of touch, he’s not competitive at all and would lose to anyone at this point. She’s not been the same since the US open, losing all the next tourneys she entered in early rounds. It happened to Rune last year too, he was too loopy and couldn’t win a match
@@Markph7 you could also put Ruud into the discussion last year, the guys was a runner-up on GS multiple time but there were times he would lose matches straight to the guys outside top 100
Not knowing how to say medical timeout 😮
And do you know how to say medical timeout in Ukrainian?
Ukrainian women are the most beautiful 🇺🇦🇺🇦❤️❤️
Wasn't she banned for drug use
I am happy because if Zabalenka win the final there will be a nice shaking hands, possible an embrace and a big smile.
Yes two communist countries represented 😅
