I saw them play this version of "Hate?" on their tour last summer. I knew the song, but I was amazed when they got to the extended middle part. I was lucky to be standing about 6-8 feet away from them. Total awesomeness!

I think the reason we love Hate so much is because the Maids have so much fun playing it. They get to go wild. Especially Saiki, since she wrote the lyrics. Thx, TYLR!

The Ladies showing the Guitar Center wannabes how it is done. (Bonus points if you get the reference) And what makes this even better than their Lollapalooza performance, is that with their own sound engineer we can finally hear what Miku is doing when she comes in during the duel. Her crunchy tone adds so much to the final crescendo that without her guitar in the left channel, it would sound weaker. And Akane is one of the best drummers, male or female. But being honest, there are a few other drummer better than her. However, not.many sound as good as she does with only a 5 piece kit with only 6 cymbals. The other drummers use larger kits and still don't have the same sonic texture than Akane has.
They must have put some cooling solution into their new outfits. There's no other way to explain how Kanami and MISA haven't caught fire on this one. ❤🔥🤘🏻 I know that many people smile at me for putting signatures under my comments, but I believe with everything I have that the ladies are right with their own statement. Hello, Band-Maid's Hate? live at Lollapalooza Chicago was great, but even more than Lollapalooza, the camera work and sound at Yokohama Arena were the best. And since the venue was huge, it was a great show where you could fully enjoy Kanami and MISA's bold and dynamic performances.
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu even so she must have a grip like a gin trap to pluck that hard and fast on bass strings I'd think. I heard that she often goes through a whole gig on the same pic. Superpowers
Thanks for pointing out how they all get out of the line of sight when one of them has their moment. I don't think I've ever seen any other reactor mention that, but I've noticed that in so many of their videos. No egos here, it's all about the music and respect for each other.

The show was broadcast on Zaiko and the archive was available for 3 months. The only ones who didn't watch were those who didn't want to.
