As a drummer I need to say this: It's one of drumming's great pleasures to keep time. I purchased ALL the ESP recordings, i.e. Spiritual Unity, etc. I can process the drummers. I've seen Andrew Cyrille with Cecil Taylor. I taught Famoudou Don Moye his first drum lessons. So I am familiar. I still love hitting the downbeat and marking those rhythmic ideas.
As soon as you started talking about the racial s*** I stopped watching I'm not into dividing people. People don't give two s**** about race when it comes to music..
