Crete seems to have an excellent reputation. I'm currently on day 3 of orientation. Phoenix terminal didn't offer orientation. Salt Lake city is the place they assigned me. My advice? Finish all online tasks on your own time. Use your phone before orientation. Crete provides a tablet to complete assigned tasks, but I've found that switching between your phone and the tablet might have you repeat the same video or quiz. Make sure to sign out on your phone before quizing on the tablet. Training thus far has been very common sense. Hardest part is referencing short keys on the tablet. But, it's all 2 pages away. I'm very impressed.
Good luck Warren. Sucks starting over. Interested in hearing the the story why you left land star you said they were s good company. Look forward to future videos.
Orientation in phoenix? Didn't know they started doing that there being such a small yard. Before they'd only send us to wilmer TX or Lincoln NE for the west guys
So I’m about to join this company, how is it for you so far? Are you able to bobtail home? I spoke to a driver that said they keep your last check if truck is dirty inside and outside is that true?
They don't keep your last truck, but they do charge $175 cleaning fee if the truck isn't spotless. I'm doing really well here, they keep me running and I average between 1,200 -1,800 a week take home. Please use my driver code LARWA if you come over. Thank you
@@TerraFirmaX thanks for the information, I will get a call upcoming week to verify orientation, I am looking forward to it, I chose 12 days out 2 in, how does that work regarding reset when you’re out 2 weeks?
@@IbeDAgoofy honestly I don’t do resets on the road, I’m on 2 and 2 also. But I usually stay out a month and go home for a week. Yes you can bobtail home and you get paid mileage to come back out of the house.
❤ Thank you for sharing with us.
Anything for youuuu

Years ago, think early 1990s, I knew someone who worked in dispatch for Crete at their headquarters in Nebraska.
Amazing story

It’s not so much Landstar that’s the problem. It’s everything else in this industry and the type of freight I haul.
I didn't do hair drug test when I was hired on It was about sixteen years ago
Well, you can’t turn back time

They had also mentioned Salt Lake. I was the only one there
@TerraFirma-X Yeah the orientation in Salt Lake is newer I guess. Did they rent you a car to get around or something?
@@AdamGbl95 they rented me a car to get there, then gave me a company car to get around.

@@TerraFirmaX that’s awesome man, I also subscribed to your channel, what’s the driver you gave me for? 🤔 for a bonus? Wanna split it?
@@IbeDAgoofy yeah they give you a bonus and it helps the channel with equipment.
Be careful about filming while your driving Crete Carrier sees it you won't be driving very long even filming in your own vehicle
Thanks. I’m not holding the camera and it’s voice command. I didn’t think that would be an issue but I’ll check
