How Bikeable is Daybreak Utah? My First Impressions

- I recorded these clips in the Sumer of 2023 while first exploring the town of Daybreak Utah. I plan on making a more in depth video in the spring/Summer of 2024 that discusses what we can learn from design elements from within Daybreak, UT.

It was fun to get your initial thoughts on Daybreak! I have been living in Daybreak for 5 years now, and it really has been awesome and is a great example of a livable suburb. I use the paths you showed in the video daily, and it is awesome to get places you need to go on a bike through a park type setting. If you need some help for your next video, reach out to me!

@@TrentSiggard definitely! It would be awesome to take a tour around with you and show you a lot of the great elements. There are a few things I would do differently, but overall it is a great example on making a more compact suburb with a high quality of life!

You can also easily connect to the MVC trail and go north up towards USANA amphitheater, makes a nice ride.
are there pubs and cafes and offices?
There are, I plan on doing a deep dive into the neighborhood in the coming months. There is a lot of diversity in land use and village centers spread throughout! This was just my first exploration with no plan
They are planning a new downtown featuring the Bees baseball team stadium.. The area will be called Downton Daybreak and is a thirty year plan. Should be really cool!
