I’m soooo close to getting my cow. Every time we get closer, my husband sends me a 🐄🐄🐄🐄 (cow emoji). These videos, along with the book you recommended, have me more confident on handling her when we make our final payment. ❤️

...as I’m fighting the internal battle with myself to NOT get a milk cow until next spring... this isn’t helping 😆 I have serious cow fever!

Do you feel cows need a friend? (Calf, other cow, goat, etc.)

I think they really do appreciate a friend. They're herd animals. Why fight it? You could be feeding your piggies skim and whey right now...

I am in Canada too (Québec) and I live in a suburb and while I plan to get a milk cow (or 2😆) in the future, it is not a possibility right now. However I would love to get raw milk and it is so complicated in Canada! Anybody from Quebec willing to sell some? 😭

So when you are able to feel the calf when bumping, about how far out is calving?

I always freeze my mozzarella before grating.

Interesting! I find chilled but not frozen easiest to grate.

@@VenisonforDinner I agree. I usually end up feeling close to frost bitten, but at least it shreds. 😂 Maybe if I chilled it in smaller chunks...

I would suggest you search it online as then you will get a few videos and descriptions. And then look at the price of a kickbar too!
