Now this was a really entertaining movie! Just made in 2022, obviously a spoof on Ed Wood films with a little Mary Shelley thrown in. Loved it. These are fun, creative people I wish I knew in person! Camp, kitschy, amusing and a real drive-in kind of movie. Fun to watch.
A great tribute to Ed Wood… it’s amazing how awful and hilarious 😂 a very low budget film can be. Also had Teenagers from Outer Space vibes. I must admit I was sad when grandma died, although little Mary seemed fine with it and even with her killer! I loved the day for night scenes. Beautiful when the stars come out and grandma snuggles you in for the night.
I was hooked at the snack bar drive in ads...just great stuff...unfortunately, not many people younger than 30 would appreciate all the tongue in cheek...
I grew up in the 50's when these B movies were scary to us kids. This movie is hilarious. I had so many laughs, especially when the alien zaps that kid with his ray gun. The makers of this spoof have great imaginations. Thanks for a fun movie to enjoy in this high-stress world we live in.
@@tomburns479 The aluminum pan with the wire handle, remove the cardboard lid, apply heat on stove, watch it PUFF into a balloon. Loved the stuff!! Thanks for the reminder!!!!
Ed Wood .. .inspiration for thousands .... although I think the special FX are perhaps too good for Ed. .. We just need Tor and Vampira to make an appearance now. Glenn or Glenda making a guest appearance would be interesting....lol.
This is funny, it’s a spoof on the many horrible b horror and sci- fi films. This is meant to be bad, whereas b movies take themselves quite seriously.
Absolutely AMAZING!!! I loved it, from Plan 10 to ‘stupid stupid stupid humans’ to the Frankenstein’s monster little girl interaction. Great job!! Especially considering the accidental person caught in the scene with the skeleton arm. All in all, congratulations on an excellent production!! 😂😂😂😂😂
OH MYWORD! This movie is cheesier than a double cheeseburger covered in Cheetos! It was perfectly acted, so, so, so over the top, predictable B-Movie cliché-filled dialogue...and that pie-pan flying saucer, the perfect cheesy cherry on top! Well done and Bravo Zulu!
The more I watched this movie, the funnier it got. A UFO with lawn chairs, Quasar (a real barrel of laughs) spouting that ridiculous Grock law every time she fires her weapon and a monster wearing earth clothes. Love it!! Joe S
Not quite up there with Sci-Fi 1st run movies (Like "The Blob" & I married a Monster from Outer space) I watched as kid in summer late "50's but Deff Better than that lemon "Plan 9 from Outer Space" flick....I can deff Relate to the pretty Good script & special Effects !! ......Yeah I know but indoor theaters were Only places with cool AC during hot humid 1950's summers !! .....Older kids (With cars) spent lots time making Out at outdoors "Drive-Ins" & prob missed Most of movie so I heard !!
This would make a great addition to my "kitch" collection: those cheesy sci-fi movies we grew up watching on TV in the 60s, many of which I have on DVD and VHS. Though my favorite movie of all time is 2001, I still have a closet nostalgic love for this old stuff from my childhood. (Just recently added Kronos and Invasion of the Saucer Men to the lineup.).
Not bad. Was fun to watch. Have you noticed ? The space treaty thing number that's said after each killing is never the same. There's a sequel : "They Came Back from Somewhere" which is even better rated. "After sacrificing himself to save the human race, Luma is cloned and returns to Earth to search for his love, Patty. When Supreme Leader learns of Luma's defection he sends Quasar and two warriors to hunt him down and destroy him."
Good to see the younger the actor the more believable the performance. And, I thought the big tatted Peter had a bigger frame. All in all, so utterly ridiculous it will go down as a classic of the '50s Sci-fi genre.
It Came From Uranus in 3D... The movie was trying to cash in on the 1950s' 3D popularity like as in It Came From Outer Space, which by the way, had a really nifty landslide scene where it seems like boulders are literally coming out of the screen and right into the audience. It Came From Uranus had a scene where it looked like a monster from Uranus was coming right out of the screen into the audience. The audience, of course, would scream like crazy. One of the scariest scenes ever in sci-fi.
I never thought there would a better Sci Fi movie then Ed Woods “Plan 9 From Outer Space” Where did they did up all the olde cars ? A Hollywood junk yard ?🤔 They combined the best/worse of "Not of This Earth", "The Blob" "Plan 9 From Outer Space" with a touch of The Firesign Theater
A classic masterpiece from the days when creativity was at its peak. Great practical effects and zero CGI. I'm sure all of the actors went on to have Illustrious careers, especially the space babe. She was ahead of her time playing a strong female lead. Ed Wood made cheapo B movies. I don't why his name keeps coming up.
OMG - this was so campy that it was good. Everyone's character was so over exaggerated. Interesting and unexpected ending. Glad I watched this one.
The acting, costumes and special affects are ourstanding!!!😂😂😂

And I'll bet that it was a blast for all the participants to make as well ! ☺️
An obvious Ed Wood Jr Parody. Nicely done. Eddie would be proud.
Parody? Hell, he would have been proud of it.....
I can't belive how many folks are taking this movie seriously. It's a deliberate low budget spoof people and it's hilarious. 😆
Probably because they don't 'get it.' For those of us who do, it's great!!
It's sooo obvious, 'don't be such a whiner' should have been the clue, that wasn't even a word anyone used until the 90s...
And that's why I like it.
Ever see 'Plan Nine From Outer space'?
For having a really low budget, this B-movie was not that bad. It was funny at times. 😄There was even a love story. 😄

This was better than most of the recent Disney products.
Now that is a very good way of measuring just how bad a movie is…I like the clever funny way you nailed it using the Disney comparison, Lol.

I congratulate everyone involved in this over-the-top spoof of 50's B movies. You NAILED IT!
Most hilarious ham acting film I've ever seen 😅😅😂😅😂😂
This is bloody amazing
Check out Larry Blamire's stuff. It's even better than this. Same kind of context, I think they borrowed some ideas from The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra.
@@johnbovie9203 I will! Thank you!
Strapping into folding lawn chairs with a clothline cord. Right. Cant stop laughing.
🤣
I thought it was an electric cord, it doesn’t matter, it’s still hilarious!❤
This is the best movie I have ever seen. Highly recommend.
I liked the Aldi steak and kidney pie dish that resembled the UFO 😂
Excellent movie .Better than the ones that win Oscars today.
Excitement! Thrills! Romance! Danger! Action! This film is an absolute gem! Kudos to all involved! 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ i loved it 😀
Aluminum pie tins wobbling in the sky, folding lawn UFO crash chairs....it's wonderful.
It look`s like a` Fray Bentos` steak pie dish ......😂😂😂😂
Jiffy Pop spacecraft.

I can't believe this was made in 2022. Finding the 1950's fashion style and grandmas cat eye glasses😂. And the locations even had that 50's vibe.

When the dollar store doesn’t sell full sleeve monster gloves.

Love the pie tin flying saucer!
love Ed Woods Jr. movies. he goes out to make a bad "B" movie and ends up making a good "B" movie.
"Hey kids, ya havin fun?" Hell yea bro.
It's very rare that I have seen anything this bad
The Crawling Terror is worse.
Try Captain Apache starring Lee Van Cleef. Fine entertainment.
Watch Plan 9 from outer space. That's bad

It's a wonderfully FUN movie! Nope, no Academy Awards, but an hour of enjoyment if you just kick back and let it make you smile.
Really enjoying this 😅😅😅😅
The little pony tail antennas. LOL
Luma looked just like this guy I dated, minus the cute antennas
If you mute the sound and read the subtitles the film works a lot better. I had a good time watching this, thank you.

Puny humans? Apparently they've not been at a KFC 5:30 on a Saturday night.
This is great, I grew up watching all those old B movies like Plan 9 from outer Space.. Ah the Memories :)
Was that the craft that crashed at Roswell? Its technology is way more advanced than anything we have.
Ed wood would have be impressed. The movie is so much in his style.
I always wondered where my Key Lime Pie pan went.
Great movie from our amazing past.
At least the girls don't have any tattoos. The guys combing their hair have quite a bit. You could tell that the film was shot in our time.
Born 1960 those images look very familiar, the cars, clothes, everything but the ufo.
The Gong Show of Sci Fi. Loved it !
That was brilliant, Ed Wood Jr is looking down and is so proud!!
I love me some cheese
did anyone else notice there were pages and pages of assistant producers at the opening credits?
Crowd funding ?
Ah, yes. My favorite movie genre: Ed Wood parody !❤
The firsr 5 minutes of this movie, told me everything that I needed to know about the nature and quality of this flilm.
I believe the mask on the creature is from the stop motion creature in either the Sinbad or Jason and the Argonauts movies.
What are toes?

"Criswell Predicts" measured 10 out of 10 on the Groan-O-meter.
