MTA NYC Subway: (L) train service at Bedford Ave, Lorimer St & 1st Ave

Today's film takes us on the L line of the NYC Subway. The L serves as a vital means for bringing passengers to/from Manhattan from Williamsburg, Bushwick, etc. Before its shutdown in April 2019, I took the opportunity to gather some footage in Williamsburg and Stuy-Town Manhattan.
You all will get to see some R143/R160 L action in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Stuy-Town, Manhattan.
All clips were filmed July 10,11, & 12th, 2018.

Nice I’m starting to see some more R160, R46 and R62As getting more LED Lighting. I hope the R179 will get it sometime.
I know the R211 will have it. The R68s should be replaced by the R211 to modernize the system o matter how old they are.

Quick question: Why do the R143's and R160A-1 on the L have a red sticker under their number plate? Whats the red sticker for, especially since the L line route bullet is colored gray?

To indicate what yards they go to. Lindsay has the Rockaway Parkway Yard, and sometimes the East New York yard at Broadway Junction.
