Interesting wood splitter. I'm on the fence with 3 point splitters. Love the idea of having the splitter at a good height...save on the back. But still seems like a lot of horse to run a splitter....even with diesel, seems like it would cost more to run than a 5 hp stand alone unit. Love seeing the 706.
@CarlAwe-m4f the 706 likes chugging gas, yes, but I don't really rev the engine much... it's a no ear plugs required splitting event. Adjusting the height to suit my comfort is huge... no tripping on the splitter frame, only the split pile which can be avoided by pulling the tractor forward. Thanks for watching!
You've got one of those high HP splitters too.👍. Mines usually 75 sometimes 95. Normally run it on a JD 2750. Oh, yours is pto, mines run w tractor hydraulics. Wayne county here
Thanks for keeping us warm for the winter!

@@brandonhoad9033 nice to meet you from a couple counties over! You should post a video of your JD and splitter!

This splitter seems to be very high. Have you considered parking a trailer under the splitter to catch the firewood as it's being split?
@@JS-ek8zo yes. Excellent idea.... I will try it and see how it goes.
