Hey, I have programmed the radio and it works well except for with repeaters. I can listen, but can not transmit. I have the offset and direction of offset put in, and also have the ctcss tone code out in. It’s almost like the mic is muted. My other radio listening to the same repeater can hear a brief noise when the push to talk button is pressed on the 889-g, but no other audio. Any help you can provide would be appreciated! Thanks
Только вы перепутали репитер с так называемым "попугаем". Репитер работает на разнесенных частотах и передает в реальном времени, а попугай на одной частоте, запоминает принятое и выдает в обратно в эфир.
Не совсем это. Есть радио модем Pacific Crest на частотах 410-430 Хочется увеличить его дальность работы. Для этого советуют купить еще такой же радио модем. Но он тяжелый, крупный и дорогой. Вот я и подумал, а почему бы не купить носимую рацию с функцией репитера? Нужно просто поймать сигнал, усилить и отправить дальше... Без задержек и смены частоты. Включил эту функцию и она работает без перерыва часа 3. Везде пишут что есть такие, но модель не пишут. Ищу вот неспешно
Scanning on channel mode is as simple as holding the scan button a few seconds, then all my programmed Chanel modes scan.. Kitty.. My issue is trying to figure out how the Gps works with another radio, what set up is needed for this to work, do we need to enter the other radio ID in the solfware to find radio.. What settings are needed.. I wish you could speak English, your what I need.. Thanks
In the submenu of the program that is used to program the radio go to CONFIGURATION SETTING. Looking for DTMF TRANSMIT TIME and DTMF INTERVAL TIME the value in both should be 200 ms. (I have and under 110 ms works, but after 800 meters distance not is determined by.) Go to the CALL SETTINGS tab and enter the numbers and names of the radio stations of the called subscribers.
Switch to channel mode by pressing the VFO/MR button. Then you press the asterisk on the numeric keypad and hold for two seconds. The radio starts to scan channels.

То что вы хотите называется Simplex repeater Controller. Вам понадобится он и какая-нибудь радиостанция. :)
