I started one expired planner with a combination of things: Journaling, a word of the day; a quote of the week and if I truly can't master the art of doodling (even with the help of the stencil pack I bought from Amazon), I'll do a photo of the week. Maybe even use stickers randomly that I know I'll never use in my current planner.

Are you kidding me, you don't have the artistic skills, please don't put that in your head to inhibit your art. You have such a beautiful talent, please try doodling and bullet journaling again. I really loved the memories page you put together in less than 5 minutes, after you said you didn't know how. Stop that, you don't put yourself down and others who follow you.

I’ve got 2.5 happy planners that started off as like a planner, memory keeper (also were probably too big, couldn’t travel with me) but I fell off 😫😂 I keep them on my shelf as a reminder not to buy them again because CLEARLY I can’t keep it up. But this video made me feel seen and I’m excited to reuse my planners in a more creative manner. Thanks for this !

Just do a playlist that’s bujo pwm: stencil edition and start that kind of playlists for people who aren’t comfortable with doodling because of artistic limits. That’s what creativity is all about. It has no boundaries or limits. Just the heart to do what everyone else isn’t hardly doing and make it their own.
I love your ideas. I am a bit confused about the doodling. The stencils are really cool, but I always equated doodling with drawing. Will you at some point change to drawing as you become more confident? Just curious about a new concept to me.
Do you think it's possible to buy an expired planner and redate it to use for an entire year? I purchase 2 for under $3 each, and would love to use them next year.
I do this every year I buy a couple of planners on clearance usually no more than $5. I redate them using dates and holidays stickers book from HP . I use one as my catchall other for budgeting.
@@mjbrown3943 I get them at Michael’s or Joannes. Particularly at Michael’s when they have the end of season winter sales in late January or when they have five dollar grab boxes. Last year I got a five dollar grab box full of planners for 2020, I gave some of them away and I kept a couple for myself. I’ve also seen them at Joannes during their clearance sales and sometimes they have a free table with planners on the table that you can just take. Usually the sales are around the time Happy Planner has a new release (several times a year).
You can also use them to practice handwriting, calligraphy, etc.

I love what you did with cutting the large sticker to frame the top and bottom. So simple in theory, but I have never thought of it.

Love this. Found a HP 2022 meal planner on Amazon for $12 so I plan to buy it and redate for next year. Didn’t even think of that as being an option.

I love the journaling and doodle ideas!! Thanks! I think for the doodle one you could try like a 'zentangle' style of doodling in each of the boxes!
Oh and the word a day is also such a good idea. I could see doing like a quote of the day, song of the day, etc.

Yep just cover the dates with a method of your choice and re-date them. I tend to do this month by month rather than all at once.
