    Great reaction. Dimash's 3 modulations at the end of this song are C#6-D6-Eb6! Incredible! You'll find, too, that Dimash uses the mic VERY effectively. He is the ultimate performer!

    Russian translation:
    Это Джерод, я буду снова делать реакцию на Димаша. Это был высокий запрос, не могу дождаться просмотра. Он поет 'Опера 2' на Сингер 2017. Его голос звучал великолепно в первой песне, которую я слушал. Надеюсь, что вы насладитесь этим. Если вам понравится, то пожалуйста подпишитесь... И так, давайте начнем.
    Мне очень нравится его оперная примесь с современной музыкой, и все же остается классической... Ааа, это на русском, хорошо. Он рассказывает историю, когда поет, это великолепно. Он вроде бы говорит: Я прекрасен, признайте меня. (когда развел руками) Он развлекается. (когда менял октавы) Это было потрясающе. Это было забавно. И так, он сделал пару вещей, которые были интересны вокально и символически. В самом начале, когда он начал петь, я заметил, что он дал сигнал, чтобы отключили его наушник, потому что, когда он пел, он показал пальцем вверх, вот так... и он сделал это очень искусно, объединив это с тем, что он пел. И для этого есть причина, т.к. когда поешь на высоких октавах, нужно слышать себя. И я заметил, что он пару раз отвел микрофон, и чтобы в это время звучать хорошо, нужно усилить голос, чтобы убедиться, что звучание будет сильным. И когда он добился этого, то он уменьшил звук и подвел микрофон ближе. Это нормально, особенно, когда поют мужчины, когда поют в контр тенор, и сопрано... Другая вещь... я заметил, что слишком многие музыканты сегодня боятся 'мертвого пространства', другими словами, место между фразами, куплетами... они сразу же соединяют пространство. Но, он оставил этот промежуток, и дал возможность зрителям отреагировать на то что он делал, и играл на публику. Многие скрывают эти моменты, они их обрезают и сжимают... Что он делает, он устраняет эту неопределенность, он оставил их и использовал эти моменты, чтобы играть с публикой, дал им возможность вжиться в то, что он делал, поднимаясь по шкале. Я многое могу о нем сказать, этот парень делает меня многословным - он великолепный!
    У меня будет больше o нем, следите за обновлениями.

      @rena5473 6 лет назад +12

      Дорогие Димашу поклонники, спасибо, за то, что вы такие благодарные. Но, я чувствую себя немного виноватой перед вами, т.к. не могу делать для вас точный перед. Конкретно, он говорит далеко от микрофона, и говорит очень быстро, естественно в своем стиле речи (еще и американском), многие его предложения не связаны или не оформлены, поэтому приходится самой их дорабатывать,чтобы донести смысл, но мне бы не хотелось их исправлять до такой степени, чтобы это были уже не его слова или стиль. Поэтому, прошу за это прощение. Я делаю все, что в моих силах, чтобы перевод оставался оригинальным, т.к. характер речи реактора помогает его лучше понять. Но, в этом случае, нарушена русская грамматика.

    Yes, Russian song...A man has built his house, but he is still alone and the wind (high notes) is rattling his windows..... Enjoyed watching this video with you...Truth be told...Off stage and out of make-up...Dimash is an extremely humble and endearing young man..he is only 22 while performing on Singer 17....Has a new concert in a few days...Dimash sings in 8 languages...but whether you understand the words or not...He is Amazing...

    Standing ovation before the song ends. The people in the back room are fellow contestants. The two I really like (and happened to turn into good friends of Dimash) are Terry Lin who comes on later in the show) and Lion Band which for a band is exceptional. Back to DImash who not only has good taste in music, but friends too. Dimash is very selective and loyal. He is also extremely humble and has not lost that during his rise to fame. To help you know all you can about Dimash, go to Wikipedia and learn all about him, the languages, the awards ad the songs plus his training. I am so tickled you have found Dimash.

    ❤️❤️❤️❤️ This is the video I watched of Dimash and almost stopped because he looked “cocky” to me. Thank goodness I stuck it out and came to learn that Dimash gives an actual performance based on the emotion of the song. This was fun and flirty. Dimash does have confidence in his ability but can also be his own worst critic.
    The gentleman that does the fist pump at the end of Dimash’s performance is his dad.
    It’s ALMOST as enjoyable to watch the audience and competitors reactions as it is watching Dimash.
    Thank you for your reaction, Jerod! I thoroughly enjoy the insights you are giving and you are quickly becoming one of my favorite new Dimash reactors!

      Kay Rush I have seen some people who thought he was cocky too because of this video!! Thank God you decided to search his other songs... I hope others will do the same. 😅
      Personally I think for attracting new fans, SOS is a better choice than Opera2.
      I watched Opera 2 first but SOS was the one which made me stay 😁

    • @AyLeenToRa
      @AyLeenToRa 6 лет назад +2

      Kay Rush oh wait... I just realized... maybe that's why a lot of vitas fans hate him. Because they just see one video and they don't like his "cockiness"?
      Too bad that they haven't had the chance to find out that he is actually very humble 😔 he is just such a great actor on stage 😥

    • @kayrush1706
      @kayrush1706 6 лет назад +1

      D8_Squad, agree completely! I always recommend/request SOS if that isn’t what the reactor watches first...it gives them a much better idea of his incredible versatility...but every performance has something different and surprising! I’ve honestly never followed an artist the way that I am Dimash. He’s going places and I want to be witness to that!

    • @kayrush1706
      @kayrush1706 6 лет назад

      D8_Squad that’s a great observation. Personally, I think Vitas comes across as cocky...and that’s based on more than one video. 😂😂 Some of them will come around when Dimash’s popularity grows more worldwide.

    Thanks - great reaction. Hope you follow the episodes on Singer - next is Show Must Go On - ep 3 - a Queen song....again different but great. I think it's best to follow the episodes because you get to experience Dimash the same way the audience did - one episode at a time - and each one is different from the others!! Can't wait for more - you have so much more to see and hear from Dimash!! One thing you said I disagree with - you said he put his finger in the air to have the volume increased in his earpiece - but if you notice shortly after that - he has removed it - which he does in almost every song. If you notice he did it right after starting SOS - and does it in almost every performance!

    This was the song I first started on. I saw a sentence in Yahoo that said he was the best singer in the world. Thinking that was a pretty daring claim, I listened. After three songs, I was convinced. Talking about telling a story Jerod, Dimash does just that in The Show Must Go On by Queen. He changes is voice to match the character. Hey Jerod this song was originally song bt a Russian singer named Vitas. Dimash sang this song 2 or 3 times then a team for Vitas went to court to stop Dimash from performing it. Dimash sang the song better than Vitas because he stepped up the chorus 3 times. I think it was jealousy.

    yeah he sounds amazing^^ I wonder if the microphone thing where he sometimes take it away at a weird moment, if that's not to show that he's not doing lip sync, since I think this was a contest of some sort? not sure, but he looks wayyyy too much in control of everything he's doing to make "mistakes" like being late in putting the mike in front of his mouth (i'm not talking about when he's moving it away to adjust the sound). I could be wrong though, but this looks done on purpose to me.

    Good but...
    Opera #2 was written around 2001 (released that year) by a Latvian born Ukranian performer (singer, song writer. actor, fashion designer, et al.) who uses the professional name Vitas. He was, and perhaps still is very popular in Eastern European and Asian countries and has a very large body of work. I prefer the original of Opera #2 because his performance is cleaner, clearer and he can go even higher than Dimash. I believe he gets up into whistle register or if not, it's as close as you can get. Also he has a 5 octave range which I don"t believe Dimash quite covers. He really rivals Dimash in his stage presence and charisma too. I have listened to quite a bit of his work in the past but I like this best. Some of his other works are a bit too flamboyant for me.
    Anyway, if you like the song and would like to see the original performance for yourself I am including a link: ruclips.net/video/_HQh29nQcvs/видео.html. The clean original performance is no longer available anymore but this is the same performance with English sub titles. Personally, I like the Vitas video much better than the Dimash version. If you watch it I would appreciate it if you could let me know, very briefly, what you think. I value your opinion.
