@ There are more verses in the Bible regarding repentance unto salvation than the ones you quoted. John 3:16 & John 14:6 also lead to salvation. You must repent of your sins. ✝️
@ Yes you are correct but the issue is that there are 3 words for repent in the Greek NT. And you don’t know which of them is used for your argument which is “repentance until salvation” I know 3 of them off the top of my head and the usage is NOT the action or a change of mind. It is the RESULT of a changed mind. And I wouldn’t even look at John 3:16 or John 14:6 for salvation. That’s all the prelude to what Christ did but it’s not the thing you stand on as Paul puts it in Corinthians 15. Now.. you say that we are to “repent” of our sins. This is NOT something that is explicitly said in the Bible at all. In Hebrew the word for “repent” was nacham and was more of an emotional driven word. The Hebrew and the Greek are NOT used the same with meaning. You say it is a sorrow for sin and a change in actions. At least I’m sure that what you define it as. Now in Greek your gonna have 5 plus lexicons that overall give it term a “change of mind” that causes one to turn to God and away from sin etc. this is wrong because in practicality when you use it for verses like acts 2:38 it doesn’t work. That word in Greek in verse 37 already shows they were in the Aorist tense “katanugesan”meaning they already felt bad. So why would Peter tell them to feel sorry again and to change their minds?? Simple! He WOULDNT!! He would have told them to change their state of mind regarding the messiah. And btw when you get to acts it’s a transitional book. If you don’t believe in dispensations I will gladly explain otherwise what I say will make no sense. So here Peter is giving them the structure of how to receive the spirit and have forgiveness of sins. Repenting isn’t the structure for salvation it here was what was needed to gain the spirit and forgiveness. I’ll key more later if you want. As for 2 Corinthians 7:10 that word for repent is the noun form so you can’t act upon a noun. μετάνοια is the word used which is the NOUN. Not the verb form. So it shows the result of a changed mind which comes form Godly sorrow which comes from conviction. Often in the form of recognizing sin and the need for Christ sacrifice to be trusted in the life of a soon to be believer. Godly sorrow doesn’t lead to salvation because it is normally leading to a path other than to Christ when they see their fault in sin in their life. I can come to this later if you want. Now for the meaning of the words. Briefly.. μετανοέω and μετάνοια are more used than the last verb form which is used for a sorrowful change of mind. And plus it’s rarely used for sin. So keep it in mind.. I’ll give you the definitions and then I’ll leave it at that. There’s more to it and I’d be happy to go more in depth but I’m gonna leave that for you if you’re interested. Let’s start with the VERB form of the word- “μετανοέω” μετα: after, beyond νοέω: comprehensive part of the mind, the understanding or to consider "think" perceive. And then the root which is νους: which is the mind or intellect. (Intellectual facility of an individual) and the main verb γινωσκω: which is where the state of affairs = knowledge or belief which is- ginosko which is to come upon new knowledge or just knowledge, to come to know which sparks a change in the STATE of mind. As knowledge or belief= state of affairs in the persons mind. Metanoeo is the verb form which tells us to act and change our state of mind on the basis of new knowledge while the noun form is the RESULT of a changed mind which focuses on the whole of the mind changed (mainly unto a state of salvation until the gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. You can do the math. Now.. the word you are looking for that would indicate a “turning” is μεταστρέφω “metasrepho” which is literally after turning. And that word is used in many contexts to show a turn from something and it’s not commonly used for sin. If you want more insight let me know. Any repent verses I’ll do for you. ANY. Chew on this for a while. Respond back if you want. Our salvation is from Paul’s gospel. NOT acts 2:38. I’ve already typed too much… sorry.. this is a lot I know.. hope this helps. I totally feel you about struggling to repent even after having prophetic dreams. I've have so many prophetic dreams. Many with terrifying sights. Yet still I feel like my body/mind is at war. I have so much trouble getting myself to repent. To the point where I pray every single day for God to do something in my life that makes it impossible for me to doubt him and/or continue willful sin.

It's about believing that Jesus sacrifice on the cross took away your sins. He was the only perfect man who ever walked the earth. We are all sinners. Repent and believe otherwise it's like handing the free gift back. We will struggle throughout life and never be perfect and repenting and turning from sin, but he took our sin debt. I wonder if he will be apart of the remnant. Jesus said to Nichodemus unless you are born again in The Holy Spirit.. you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.. Repentance is needed to receive the Holy Spirit.. We need to humble ourselves and ask for forgiveness of our sins and turn away from those sins.. We need to believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins and accept Him as our Lord and Saviour.. None are righteous but if we listen and obey the guidance of The Holy Spirit dwelling in us.. We lead more righteous lives. The Holy Spirit gives us comfort, peace, joy and encouragement.. And helps us overcome sin and guides us in good works through His Spirit and not of ourselves.. Jesus wants us to have a personal relationship with Him.

Most people probably stop repenting because of guilt and shame. They know that they keep sinning and then the feeling of ”responsibility” after asking for forgiveness fir the same sin a thousand times, or ten thousand times. I’m sure that countless of people know precisely what this means and what it feels like. Something is targetting your weakness or weaknesses over and over again, with the aim to feel guilt and to make you stop asking for forgiveness. You start doubting and ask yourself how God can keep forgiving you all these times. However, this ”something” doesn’t necessarily have to be demonic. Let’s not forget the ”flesh” as well as our own, free will.

I grew up catholic as well and has found Jesus in my early thirties outside the C. churh because I had discovered that the C. Church could not fulfill in my spiritual needs. Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father except by me." What do you not understand about this verse. What has Mary got to do with salvation. Jeus ( as God) is complete in Himself and needs no help for the salvation of humanity. She was just a vessel to bring Messiah into the world. Your knowledge of scripture is very shallow and I recommend that you invite Jesus into your heart and ask Him to pour out His Spirit upon you. Only by His Spirit can you discern and know the truth. Do not believe that any spiritual encounter is from God. I Cor 2:14" But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness to him nor can he know them because they are spiritually discerned." You can only know and understand spiritual things by the Spirit of God. Seek His Grace and wisdom today. "Today is the day of Salvation. Do not harden your hearts as in the day of rebellion."
I am in a similar way with being Catholic but getting a bit concerned about that especially the more I got into biblically focused content. Especially after the pachamama incident. While I totally believe that Mary as being chosen was part of God's plan and she is held in high regard because of that, all glory goes to God because only He can save us. I noticed a lot of evil ideology has been snuck in with gradual changes, until they weren't gradual and become more overt. Even today much of modern progressive ideology is unbiblical values, but masquerades as tolerance and inclusion.

I remember when I was asking the question, how do I know I am saved? Ephesians 2:8,9. Most people don't get it because it is way to simple. If your Faith is true, meaning do you believe that the blood Jesus shed covers all you sins and he was resurrected on the third day. If your Faith is in his blood then even though you are still a sinner, you need not do anything for forgiveness because it is a free gift according to the bible. If you think you need to do anything other than have faith then you are not saved. Free is free, you should be so grateful and do what most Christian's do. Share exactly what I just did with others so that they to can be saved. Repent is nothing to do with being saved. If your Faith is true the holy spirit will enter you and you will become a new creature in Christ. If you do not feel renewed inside then you are believing that you need something other than faith. Just that simple. The Jews Gospel was the law and believing Jesus was the Messiah. We have no doubt who Jesus is only Jews do. Jesus is the living word and he died for your sins and was raised. MY BELOW COMMENTS ON THIS RAPTURE DREAM.... Allow me to"...(speak the truth in brotherly love? Ephesians 4:15)" That is a good dream. But the analogy of Christ vomiting out Lukewarm Christians doesn't mean they are lost and won't go to Heaven. Those Christians are saved. Christ is saying they make Him sick, not make Him disown them. He did not say they are unsaved. He said I wish you were cold or hot. "Cold" means, it would be better if you were unsaved and got saved. "Hot" means it would be better if you were saved and victorious, etc. But you are in the middle, saved, and compromised, i.e., lukewarm. And I've heard the most miserable soul is a backslidden or lukewarm Christian. Now there are consequences for staying that way. God's discipline could result if a Lukewarm Christian stays that way. 1 Corinthians 11:30-32/Hebrews 12:1-8/1 John 5:16, etc. I hear people misinterpret Revelation 3:14-22 too often. Some Christians could be ashamed when Christ returns at The Rapture, 1 John 2:28 conveys. But that same verse, 1 John 2:28, advises us to be obeying Christ when He appears in the Rapture. Many I feel, will also be living in obedience to Christ when He appears for His true Church. Revelation chapters 2 & 3 are all messages to Christ's SAVED CHURCH, including the Lukewarm church of Laodicea. As David Jeremiah says, the word "church" occurs 19 times in these two chapters, and church in the Greek, the NT was written in means saved souls, God has called out of sin. Jesus Christ is rebuking them because they are His own, who are breaking His heart. He wants them to change. NOBODY JESUS CHRIST SENT MESSAGES TO IN THE 7 CHURCHES IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION IS LOST OR CAN BE LOST, NO MATTER WHAT CHRIST HAS SAID IN THESE LETTERS. CHRIST SAID IN JOHN 10:27-30, NONE OF HIS SHEEP WILL EVER PERISH OR BE LOST. VOMIT IS A METAPHOR THAT MEANS THOSE TYPE OF BELIEVERS MAKE CHRIST SICK. AND CHRIST WANT THEM TO CHANGE. WITH HIS HELP, THEY CAN CHANGE. Philippians 4:13. To say the Laodicean believers are no longer saved because Christ spit them out, is to say they lost their salvation. And The Bible does not teach that. In fact, God's Word teach the opposite in 1 John 5:13. We all, with God's help, need to read and study God's Word, with an earnest heart as well as an open heart, praying for wisdom to grasp and apply what His Book really says. We need to realize we need to support any teaching with support of other Scriptures, that confirm or prove the teaching. We need to read what Christ says in all those verses to the Lukewarm church, not just pluck that one thought out, Christ's spitting them out and make it mean they'll miss the Rapture. Believers will go in The Rapture because of God's grace and mercy. Jude 21. We are saved by grace. We live for God by His Spirit's help and grace as well. Titus 2:11-13 cover these themes. That does mean we are robots. We are urged to repent as needed. We all need to interpret correctly the Word of God, says 2 Timothy 2:15. The only “repentance” mentioned in the Bible is “metanoia” - which means to “change your mind”. What change of mind? Change your mind from unbelief in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross that paid for ALL sins past, present and future to belief in the FINISHED work of Jesus Christ crucified. NOWHERE in the Bible does it say anything about “repent of your sins”. Nowhere does it say you need to say sorry. It is all good and well to resist sinning. But REMEMBER…salvation has nothing to do with repenting of your sins. Salvation has to do with BELIEVING on the Lord Jesus Christ’s FINISHED work ALONE.

For 2 years I’ve worked on this word and I can assure you this word does NOT mean turn from sin. This kid is WAY OFF on what he “seen” I looked also at Corinthians and 1&2 Thessalonians and even 1 John and this kids theology is incorrect. I’m still debating to comment on this video but listening to him this “testimony” I don’t think is authentic because I too have had similar dreams but about numbers and feast days and they all mean nothing. Also by the way.. tighten up on the usage you put for the usage of metanoia. You want to use the word metanoeo since that word is used way more than noia. Noia is the noun form which is the RESULT of a changed mind. Think the outcome of the action or event of that state of mind changed. Metanoeo is the word you REALLY want to focus on. And metamelomai is the word used only a handful of times and that is the word used for sorrow. If you have any questions just let me know ;) all helpful chatting on that word. ALSO stative verbs are used to describe the state of being of the Corinthians who get this.. are the temple of God. If you see a stative verb you can tell that the state of being of the subject is in the next word used after the stative verb in Greek. I also love how he’s not sure either at the end by saying this is “also for me”. So even he is unsure. And that little “lukewarm” analogy he gave is completely wrong as well! Tone and relation in Greek have to be applied and the usage was metaphorical to the church he described. So luke warmness does NOT exist! Says a lot when even this kid doesn’t think he can do it either. Sole revelation that Jesus apparently “gave” while leaving out HOW to be saved.

@ There are more verses in the Bible regarding repentance unto salvation than the ones you quoted. John 3:16 & John 14:6 also lead to salvation. You must repent of your sins. ✝️
@ Yes you are correct but the issue is that there are 3 words for repent in the Greek NT. And you don’t know which of them is used for your argument which is “repentance until salvation” I know 3 of them off the top of my head and the usage is NOT the action or a change of mind. It is the RESULT of a changed mind. And I wouldn’t even look at John 3:16 or John 14:6 for salvation. That’s all the prelude to what Christ did but it’s not the thing you stand on as Paul puts it in Corinthians 15. Now.. you say that we are to “repent” of our sins. This is NOT something that is explicitly said in the Bible at all. In Hebrew the word for “repent” was nacham and was more of an emotional driven word. The Hebrew and the Greek are NOT used the same with meaning. You say it is a sorrow for sin and a change in actions. At least I’m sure that what you define it as. Now in Greek your gonna have 5 plus lexicons that overall give it term a “change of mind” that causes one to turn to God and away from sin etc. this is wrong because in practicality when you use it for verses like acts 2:38 it doesn’t work. That word in Greek in verse 37 already shows they were in the Aorist tense “katanugesan”meaning they already felt bad. So why would Peter tell them to feel sorry again and to change their minds?? Simple! He WOULDNT!! He would have told them to change their state of mind regarding the messiah. And btw when you get to acts it’s a transitional book. If you don’t believe in dispensations I will gladly explain otherwise what I say will make no sense. So here Peter is giving them the structure of how to receive the spirit and have forgiveness of sins. Repenting isn’t the structure for salvation it here was what was needed to gain the spirit and forgiveness. I’ll key more later if you want. As for 2 Corinthians 7:10 that word for repent is the noun form so you can’t act upon a noun. μετάνοια is the word used which is the NOUN. Not the verb form. So it shows the result of a changed mind which comes form Godly sorrow which comes from conviction. Often in the form of recognizing sin and the need for Christ sacrifice to be trusted in the life of a soon to be believer. Godly sorrow doesn’t lead to salvation because it is normally leading to a path other than to Christ when they see their fault in sin in their life. I can come to this later if you want. Now for the meaning of the words. Briefly.. μετανοέω and μετάνοια are more used than the last verb form which is used for a sorrowful change of mind. And plus it’s rarely used for sin. So keep it in mind.. I’ll give you the definitions and then I’ll leave it at that. There’s more to it and I’d be happy to go more in depth but I’m gonna leave that for you if you’re interested. Let’s start with the VERB form of the word- “μετανοέω” μετα: after, beyond
νοέω: comprehensive part of the mind, the understanding or to consider
"think" perceive. And then the root which is νους: which is the mind or intellect.
(Intellectual facility of an individual) and the main verb γινωσκω: which is where the state of affairs = knowledge or belief which is- ginosko which is to come upon new knowledge or just knowledge, to come to know which sparks a change in the STATE of mind. As knowledge or belief= state of affairs in the persons mind. Metanoeo is the verb form which tells us to act and change our state of mind on the basis of new knowledge while the noun form is the RESULT of a changed mind which focuses on the whole of the mind changed (mainly unto a state of salvation until the gospel 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. You can do the math. Now.. the word you are looking for that would indicate a “turning” is μεταστρέφω “metasrepho” which is literally after turning. And that word is used in many contexts to show a turn from something and it’s not commonly used for sin. If you want more insight let me know. Any repent verses I’ll do for you. ANY. Chew on this for a while. Respond back if you want. Our salvation is from Paul’s gospel. NOT acts 2:38. I’ve already typed too much… sorry.. this is a lot I know.. hope this helps. They know that they keep sinning and then the feeling of ”responsibility” after asking for forgiveness fir the same sin a thousand times, or ten thousand times. I’m sure that countless of people know precisely what this means and what it feels like. Something is targetting your weakness or weaknesses over and over again, with the aim to feel guilt and to make you stop asking for forgiveness. You start doubting and ask yourself how God can keep forgiving you all these times. However, this ”something” doesn’t necessarily have to be demonic. I grew up catholic as well and has found Jesus in my early thirties outside the C. churh because I had discovered that the C. Church could not fulfill in my spiritual needs. Jeus ( as God) is complete in Himself and needs no help for the salvation of humanity. She was just a vessel to bring Messiah into the world. Your knowledge of scripture is very shallow and I recommend that you invite Jesus into your heart and ask Him to pour out His Spirit upon you. Only by His Spirit can you discern and know the truth. Do not believe that any spiritual encounter is from God. I am in a similar way with being Catholic but getting a bit concerned about that especially the more I got into biblically focused content. Especially after the pachamama incident. While I totally believe that Mary as being chosen was part of God's plan and she is held in high regard because of that, all glory goes to God because only He can save us. I noticed a lot of evil ideology has been snuck in with gradual changes, until they weren't gradual and become more overt. I remember when I was asking the question, how do I know I am saved? Ephesians 2:8,9. Most people don't get it because it is way to simple. If your Faith is true, meaning do you believe that the blood Jesus shed covers all you sins and he was resurrected on the third day. If your Faith is in his blood then even though you are still a sinner, you need not do anything for forgiveness because it is a free gift according to the bible. If you think you need to do anything other than have faith then you are not saved. Free is free, you should be so grateful and do what most Christian's do. That is a good dream. But the analogy of Christ vomiting out Lukewarm Christians doesn't mean they are lost and won't go to Heaven. Those Christians are saved. Christ is saying they make Him sick, not make Him disown them. He did not say they are unsaved. He said I wish you were cold or hot. "Cold" means, it would be better if you were unsaved and got saved. "Hot" means it would be better if you were saved and victorious, etc. But you are in the middle, saved, and compromised, i.e., lukewarm. And I've heard the most miserable soul is a backslidden or lukewarm Christian.
Now there are consequences for staying that way. God's discipline could result if a Lukewarm Christian stays that way. 1 Corinthians 11:30-32/Hebrews 12:1-8/1 John 5:16, etc.
I hear people misinterpret Revelation 3:14-22 too often. Some Christians could be ashamed when Christ returns at The Rapture, 1 John 2:28 conveys. But that same verse, 1 John 2:28, advises us to be obeying Christ when He appears in the Rapture. Many I feel, will also be living in obedience to Christ when He appears for His true Church.
Revelation chapters 2 & 3 are all messages to Christ's SAVED CHURCH, including the Lukewarm church of Laodicea. As David Jeremiah says, the word "church" occurs 19 times in these two chapters, and church in the Greek, the NT was written in means saved souls, God has called out of sin. Jesus Christ is rebuking them because they are His own, who are breaking His heart. He wants them to change. NOBODY JESUS CHRIST SENT MESSAGES TO IN THE 7 CHURCHES IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION IS LOST OR CAN BE LOST, NO MATTER WHAT CHRIST HAS SAID IN THESE LETTERS. CHRIST SAID IN JOHN 10:27-30, NONE OF HIS SHEEP WILL EVER PERISH OR BE LOST. VOMIT IS A METAPHOR THAT MEANS THOSE TYPE OF BELIEVERS MAKE CHRIST SICK. AND CHRIST WANT THEM TO CHANGE. WITH HIS HELP, THEY CAN CHANGE. Philippians 4:13.
To say the Laodicean believers are no longer saved because Christ spit them out, is to say they lost their salvation. And The Bible does not teach that. In fact, God's Word teach the opposite in 1 John 5:13. We all, with God's help, need to read and study God's Word, with an earnest heart as well as an open heart, praying for wisdom to grasp and apply what His Book really says.
We need to realize we need to support any teaching with support of other Scriptures, that confirm or prove the teaching. We need to read what Christ says in all those verses to the Lukewarm church, not just pluck that one thought out, Christ's spitting them out and make it mean they'll miss the Rapture.
Believers will go in The Rapture because of God's grace and mercy. Jude 21. We are saved by grace. We live for God by His Spirit's help and grace as well. Titus 2:11-13 cover these themes. That does mean we are robots. We are urged to repent as needed.
We all need to interpret correctly the Word of God, says 2 Timothy 2:15. Other than my shedding light on your interpretation of Christ spitting those who are Lukewarm out, I like your dream, interpretation and in closing, your urging people to be ready for the Lord's return. The only “repentance” mentioned in the Bible is “metanoia” - which means to “change your mind”.
What change of mind?
Change your mind from unbelief in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross that paid for ALL sins past, present and future to belief in the FINISHED work of Jesus Christ crucified.
NOWHERE in the Bible does it say anything about “repent of your sins”.

For 2 years I’ve worked on this word and I can assure you this word does NOT mean turn from sin. I’m still debating to comment on this video but listening to him this “testimony” I don’t think is authentic because I too have had similar dreams but about numbers and feast days and they all mean nothing. Also by the way.. tighten up on the usage you put for the usage of metanoia. You want to use the word metanoeo since that word is used way more than noia. Noia is the noun form which is the RESULT of a changed mind. Think the outcome of the action or event of that state of mind changed. Metanoeo is the word you REALLY want to focus on. And metamelomai is the word used only a handful of times and that is the word used for sorrow. If you have any questions just let me know ;) all helpful chatting on that word. ALSO stative verbs are used to describe the state of being of the Corinthians who get this.. are the temple of God. If you see a stative verb you can tell that the state of being of the subject is in the next word used after the stative verb in Greek.
