Mavs in 5. What's all the hype about Ant Man? I guess it's applicable. The last several games he has played like an insect. The media jumps on a guy and tries to make him a hero. They call him the face of the NBA. They can't stand that Luka and Jokic, both European, dominate the league. They are the face of the league along with James. This season, Ant had 25/5/5/ Luka had 33/9/9. Case closed. No contest. .
They leave Chai to Ant, what an error. And if they want an American player, they have Lively, who works, is humble and progress so much and will be an exceptionnal player. They prefere a big unrespected ego like Shaq and Lebron in fact.. 😢😢

Happens every year in the playoffs when teams know how to expose how bad he is defensively. He is a great rim protector...................rim protector and defender are 2 different things. Anywhere outside the paint Gobert is about as useless as it gets as a defender.

The Mavs 2 start both went off for 30+ points while the 2 start for the Wolves shot 33% from the field and the Mavs were barely able to pull out the win. Mavs defense has been great but they won't be able to hold ANT and KAT to games like that very often and I think its Wolves in 6 personally

If KAT and ANT had just decent games and hit 3 more total shots combined the Wolves win that game. ANT went 6-16 and KAT went 6-20, and Mavs defense (though great now) won't hold 2 superstars to performances like that very often. I really hope Mavs can pull off the upset (crazier things have happened)

The Mavericks will win this series in six games. The Timberwolves have to adjust the defense to put more bodies in the lane to slow down Kyrie and Luka scoring in the paint. That will open the corner threes for PJ and Jones. The Timberwolves just do not have the personnel to match up against Kyrie and Luka. Connelly is not capable to defending either one, Edwards has learned he is not ready to defend against Kyrie so maybe he will shift to Luka. Then Luka will just post him up. Towns is a good big athlete that can shoot but he cannot defend against Luka or Kyrie. Cobert likewise is useless against Luka and Kyrie so he will just continue to drop back in the paint leaving the short floater wide open. That leaves only one starter to defend against both Kyrie and Luka, McDaniels. The Timberwolves need to pull Connelly and start Reed and try him against Luka. But that makes Edwards have to be point guard which is going to put more pressure on him.
