- Who knew there were SO many different types of SLIMES! Today we are testing a bunch of them from a popular TikTok slime shop and ranking them most to least satisfying (as a slime beginner)

Hi hope! as one of your slime expert audience members, i noticed that the "activator" that you added in is supposed to have hot water mixed into it, so that might be why. I also noticed that $24 dollars for a slime is crazy! there are so many tiktok slime brands out there that have better quality slime for cheaper!

this may help
1:31 this was a water slime, it may have melted during shipping or transit
2:34 this was a butter slime that is meant to have the charms ‘displayed’ on top of the slimes as a little decoration while the glitter was meant to be mixed in for better texture
3:46 this was a clear slime, it was super pretty and is great that you had no issues with it!
4:33 this was a slushy/rice slime but the beads or ‘rice’ aren’t supposed to fall out it may have either been the quality of the slime or the beads
5:25 this slime is called a cloud slime it is made by mixing fake snow with pretty much any slime base
7:02 this is a clear slime that most probably melted during shipping or transit
8:58 this slime is a fishbowl bead slime that definitely melted during shipping and was probably also poorly made
10:31 this is called a glossy slime but is used as a DIY slime when you add the clay pieces and glitters or charms in
the liquid activator is the best to just squirt in the slime and powder activator is usually mixed with water to make a liquid activator! hopefully next time your slime goes well :)
Do you actually want to add the liquid activator because that helps more and the powder you actually have to add water

Don’t add the powder straight away, dissolve it in warm water first then add 1 - 2 squirts/drops of it and mix until desired texture is met!❤
The powder activator is meant for towel or butter slime and the liquid activator is for clear slimes, which is probably why the powder activator was changing the texture of the clear slimes so much. 8:39
Hi Hope, if you are reading this, the activator dint work because you are supposed to add the powder they give you into warm water and mix it but don’t use allot because then it would be over activated. Love your videos❤😊

As someone who has become somewhat of a slime expert recently:
Activator - As a lot of people have said in the comments, the activator powder is usually borax & should be dissolved in water first. Adding borax directly can make the slime overly stiff. I would also recommend just putting a bit of activator (dissolved in water) on your hands before playing with any sticky-looking slime cause that helps a ton.
Price - for any relatively plain looking slime (usually around 6 to 8 ounces) you should probably be paying anywhere from $10-$16 (most around $14 or so). you can also get super cool DIY sets with clay pieces to mix in etc., and those tend to cost a bit more ($18-$22 in my experience). if you buy from a good slime shop these should come in solid packaging and last a long time.
Shops - There are SO MANY good slime shops to choose from, it can seriously be overwhelming, but the creativity is awesome as well. I’ll give some recommendations below, but also I’d warn generally against getting ones from like wish or probably temu, cause those just vary a lot more in quality.
Snoop Slimes - Very well known slime shop! Drops new slimes every Friday and has a good range of some basics and fun DIY clay slimes. The ones I have smell amazing & are great quality.
Momo Slimes - Known for having some of the most fun, elaborate DIY clay slimes and other funky textures. A bit expensive, but the quality is great.
BlushingBB Slimes - Especially known for her cloud/icee slime textures, you can get some really cute, soft, great smelling slimes from her-though she is often sold out.
Slime Obsidian - Great for testing out all the basics. They usually have tons of textures in stock & a really intuitive/helpful website.
OG Slimes - Super cool company with really fun drops & unique textures (like lava rocks). Their website is also great and usually has videos of the slime being played with on the listing page.
SlimeCityB - Does super fun/uniquely themed drops all the time, and some of my favorite slimes I have are from them. I have one from their Shrek-themed drop and Mean Girls drop, and they’re both S-tier. I also saw a review of a squishmallow-themed drop they did that looked super cute.
I legit could go on, but that’s probably more than enough to start lol. Just to list others (and if anyone is curious about them lmk and i can expand later): Rodem Slimes, PeachyBbies, Dope Slimes (always have tons in stock but warning that he doesn’t wear gloves while making the slime), Boba Bao Slimes, Slimeowy (also great youtube review channel), Lime Slimes Co

1:31 - This was clear slime, it is prone to getting sticky.
2:42 - This was butter slime, I think you can pit the charms on top of each one maybe so they all have a different charm. Too many charms make the slime lumpy. Butter slime can get boring but it is super soft like frosting and clay.
3:52 - this a clear slime with pearls. Super pretty
4:51 - the beads in this one are called fishbowl beads. They are prone to falling out of the slime (trust me when I say slushy slime is much different and
much better)
5:28 - this is not butter slime, it is cloud slime (hence the fluffy cloud texture)
7:20 - this will act like the clear slime. The liquid activator is best.
9:02 - this is also fishbowl slime. Again, the liquid activator works best. (The powder will five chunks, it isn’t meant to go straight into the slime)
10:40 - this is a glossy slime. It is also diy (cause you put it together)

Please try Aaron’s thing putty it is very fun I recommend and no activator needed. Nothing needed. Just a putting play with it. I really hope you try this . I love your video and if you don’t, it’s fine.
5:28 is a icee not a cloud slime if you were an expert you would have known that. Also 7:20 all activators are liquid that’s why the slime was clumpy.

I would recommend using the liquid activator! The powder one is probably like baking soda, which is going to make it really weird. Make sure you don’t add to much because then it over activates :)

No It would be borax, its just regular activator just not pre made yet

@@Lexa.bubble Depends on how you incorporate it, if you don't mix it enough then yeah. But borax is an activator to get it to not be sticky, borax is a powder and to use it you mix it with water, that bag of powder she added was borax, it just didn't work because it wasn't made up yet

Hi Hope! I love your videos so much it makes me entertained and little tip if you have under activated slime, recommend adding a little bit at a time and for that powder activator you are supposed to dissolve it in hot water for it to actually activate the slime otherwise it would just make the slime become clumps anyways HOPE this helps ;)

The towel slime is most probably an icee/cloud slime and its usually made by adding instant snow to normal slime. You should try the liquid activator which will probably help make them less sticky. :) Thanks for always making my day better and putting a smile on my face
You should also try peachybbies slime which is a much better and cheaper alternative :)

Ok hope, as a slime expert you were making me cringe through the screen 😂 don’t add just powder. That’s what changed the texture to have clump’s because the slime was over activated. Mix the borax with water and let it dissolve then add like 2 drops at a time (borax is really strong so it’s easy to put too much. Next time add 2 or three quarter sized drops of the liquid, (the liquid is less strong) then the slime will feel sort of goey and wet, but you just have to trust the process, keep mixing till it isn’t wet, and if you need more liquid add a bit more. Hope this helps!

This was both the most satisfying and most painful video to watch. I loved hand movement and Hope's voice, so relaxing for me. But ASMR part...I feel, like I'm the only one in the world who feels unsettled by such sounds and whispering to the microphone.

Hi Hopescope just to let you know that powder is supposed to be dissolved in water! I also recommend the elemers activator and I normally use 4 lid fulls and make she not to add it all at once! I hope you take me advice,this was a loverly video. :)
Hey hope the “towel slime” is actually called cloud slime you should make it for one of ur videos!!!
All you need is
Glue and tide tide works as the activator then instant snow mix the glue and activator them add water to the instant snow and add it too the slime then mix and ur done!!!

If you are looking for the water slimes, I recommend Momo slimes! They have a lot of cool and different textures, including water. Also 100% recommend Peachybbies.. I may already have 10 of them. Cloud, Icee and Bingsu are my favorite textures. Pilot slimes has really cool different colors too.

This whole video makes me cringe, ⚠️ and not bc of hope she is amazing⚠️ you got so badly ripped off with the prices and the quality was awful, I have already purchased peacybbies and snoop slimes and snoop is my favorite slime shop! I highly recommend them and I would definitely watch a couple of their videos to see what slimes u should get and what types (to also find out when they restock). If you end up purchasing from snoop slimes, PLEASE read the care card. I hope this helps ❤❤❤

tip for when slime is sticky: dissolve 1 tablespoon of powder in 2 cups water and add very slowly to the slime to make it less sticky.

The last Second to last one was a cloud slime
You could make goo with cornstarch and water. It’s a 2:1 ratio (2 cups cornstarch to 1 cup water). You can also add food coloring to make it different, sure you could add glitter to it as well.

The beach towel slime had Instant snow in it so it made it soft and fluffy
I have the honey one. You have to play with it often and keep it cool. It becomes like literal honey when it gets too warm and isn't used for a minute. I love it but I accidentally ruined the first one. I learned haha
Hii hope! The activator POWER is supposed to be dissolved in warm water which is why it didn’t work and instead turned clumpy.
From my experience with slime shops they WILL make it under activated. So you can make how you like it with the activater! They do this because some people like it more stick.

Tip: if you ever open your slime and it’s overly sticky, but the activator won’t work, it’s probably melted. Try putting it in the fridge for a few minutes
Hey hope ur biggest fan here the rice slime is a fishbow slime bc the beads are called fish bowl beads edit: and since ur a begginer u have to use the liquid activator since it easier and more basic than powder
As someone that use to play with slime everyday I would recommend washing ur hands with cold water incase ur warm hands melt it, u should also try play with it quicker so it doesn’t start like falling also the powder is suppose to be added to water or else u would get clumps in ur slime>>>
