Amy that is exactly the same problem I have in my back and hips, I was told nearly ten yrs ago that my problem was inoperable so I'd have to put up with it, or take even stronger drugs (heroin) to control the pain. They go in from the front and can drill out the holes that those nerves run through. Fairly common surgery. I went through it and had pretty good results.

I always said I would never own a white vehicle. I bought a white truck 14 years ago because it had the drive train I wanted. It has grown on me and with a little Crome added I like it. It is a little tough to keep clean with the gravel roads we live and farm on. Don't be afraid to put a little money in the truck you got, this newer stuff is over priced and not near as reliable. I've had my Durango for 17 years. 276,000 miles on her. I plan on driving her til the wheels fall off or 300,000 which ever comes first. I can't fathom the cost of a monthly payment on a vehicle that sell for $100,000. But you deserve to buy what you want. Life is short.
A salesman at a Ford dealer was showing a farmer new trucks. The farmer asked why one truck cost more than the other one parked next to it. The salesman told him the more expensive one was a 3/4 ton and could haul more. The farmer looked at one truck then the other and told the salesman, "The box doesn't look and bigger to me". That's why they only have 1/2 ton pickups at rural dealers.
If I was in a position and could afford a new truck I would get one. I myself would be fine with a Ram 3500 Tradesman with a Cummins. Id even have just 2wd. Be great if I could. Definitely would help with my mom.
Dougo it's easier to know what your gonna spend each month and have the reliability of a new(er) one than never no what's going to break next and where you could be stranded! Also with Dodge/Ram going away from the HEMI (we all love) to the I-6 I believe these HEMI trucks will go up in price since they're not gonna be built any longer. The TRX wouldve been awesome but not for the Premium gas prices, as Chet knows all so well about! 〽️😎👍

Amy I am an advance practice nurse for the last 37 years. My specialty is orthopedics. The symptoms you ate describing sound like cervical stenosis. Did you have an MRI done? Depending on how bad the arthritis and stenosis is it might be time to look at surgery before the nerves become irreparably damaged. Going to a chiropractor is a good. But also having a surgeon physical therapy added to your team would help maintain or possibly reduce symptoms. I too have cervical issues from being in a roll over accident twice in my life. Both times hit by drunk drivers. Responding to a you tube video is something that I don't normally do. I'm from Wisconsin just trying to help a fellow Midwesterner out. Good luck on your journey
Amy, I’ve had my L5-S1 fused and need my neck fused due to degenerative disc arthritis, so I do know what that are dealing with pain in your arm/shoulder & neck. Injections have done nothing and neither has chiropractors. 62 years old and was a mechanic for 38 years. Dougo, fix what you have, new/newer trucks will probably cost more than double for repairs and electronics are more expensive.
They can open up the cannals you are talking about. I've had one done , 2 more that are bad. And yes Amy Neuropathy is a terrible thing. I have it very bad Between that and my back my life is nothing. Pain 24/7 and push a walker. Life sucks !!!!!
Better get one before Chrysler waves goodbye. They just closed the home office in the us and according uaw reports they are ready to give it up in the us and be done.
My wife trained at Hopkins and Mayo. They are correct. Xray is for bones. Whiplash is soft tissue so Xray is not the proper imaging for that. You need an MRI.

The Saturday Night Joke
"Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I have been with a loose girl."
The priest asks, "Is that you, little Joey Pagano?"
"Yes, Father, it is."
"And who was the girl you were with?"
"I can't tell you, Father. I don't want to ruin her reputation."
"Well, Joey, I'm sure to find out her name sooner or later so you may as well tell me now. Was it Tina Minetti?"
"I cannot say."
"Was it Teresa Mazzarelli?"
"I'll never tell."
"Was it Nina Capelli?"
"I'm sorry, but I cannot name her."
"Was it Cathy Piriano?"
"My lips are sealed."
"Was it Rosa DiAngelo, then?"
"Please, Father! I cannot tell you."
The priest sighs in frustration. "You're very tight lipped, and I admire that. But you've sinned and have to atone. You cannot be an altar boy now for 4 months. Now you go and behave yourself."
Joey walks back to his pew, and his friend Franco slides over and whispers, "What'd you get?"
"Four months vacation and five good leads.
Yes. Stenosis. I will have an MRI this summer.
Thank you for your insight. I appreciate you messaging. ☺️ we have to stick together.
Get a 1954 Dodge Power Wagon. I drove one on Vietnam in 67… rugged…
I’m sorry to hear about your neck troubles.
They can open up the cannals you are talking about. I've had one done , 2 more that are bad.
And yes Amy Neuropathy is a terrible thing. I have it very bad
Between that and my back my life is nothing. Pain 24/7 and push a walker. Life sucks !!!!!
👍
Do they have a country dirt road brown color?? Good work Amy and dougo!
At the price of new vehicles, I am keeping my car until it rusts into the ground
the mrs. would make a rubicon look good.
Men and boys and the price of their toys comes to mind for some strange reason.
Perfect time. Dodge is way overstocked.
Better get one before Chrysler waves goodbye. They just closed the home office in the us and according uaw reports they are ready to give it up in the us and be done.
According to the Mayo clinic whiplash doesn't show up on a x-ray.
The Mayo…
My wife trained at Hopkins and Mayo. They are correct. Xray is for bones. Whiplash is soft tissue so Xray is not the proper imaging for that. You need an MRI.
I have a lot of testing and doctoring ahead of me. MRI is one of them. Thanks. The bones have shifted because of ligament damage from injuries.
Twice a week is nice.
Other mistake Dougo image that 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
You need a ford King ranch in your life Mr Larson
Doug you heard that song it's cheaper to keep her
Does Randy have to spend that much to maintain his chev? Maybe you should look at a Duramax.
