The drone adds so much to the video! I love that you show nature and ancient sites. That’s the sort of thing my husband and I always looked for, when we were traveling in our motor home. We were into photography, too, but this was long before drones. The only thing different is, we’d have stopped at secondhand shops and crystal shops, too.
I wasn’t sure about the two of you when I first came across your channel. However, I’ve just been watching quite a few of your videos and I think you’re both lovely. Maz is an absolute sweetheart and you’re not too bad either Dan! Wishing you both the best on your travels and thanks for giving us something to watch.
Hi Dan, most the drones have this problem with the blades showing. It is worse when the Drone flies forward and the body tilts down. The camera, while trying to stay level, ends up capturing the blades in the video. I found, when I use my drone, the best way around this is to record the video as you fly away from the Castle, hill, etc.. This way the drone body tilts up and the film is 100% blade free. Then if you want the video to be a fly towards the Castle et. just reverse the video on your timeline and Viola, "blade free vids".. Hope it helps buddy I haven't got an example I can share with you, that I can remember, as during the covid month, we haven't used the drone :( LOL
Hey Dan & Mazzy! Great Drone footage Dan and I loved the music that you put to it That is one huge graveyard and thank you for the history lesson on the stone! Stay safe, love to you both, now onto the next!
Great video as always guys. On the drone the right hand switch should normally be at the top. Middle is ATTI, so flies more like a usual aircraft without any GPS guidance. Bottom is Program for additional flight options such as follow me etc. The only time I use top left switch is to activate RTH, if you cycle it top to bottom twice it will return in the hover to your home point. Gimble looks a bit out of whack, so I think you need to run calibrate through the app. I do this before each flight as it ensures the home point is kept current. Still no notifications here, so no emails to say new video was up or phone banners somehow!
The sauce you had ballymalloe comes from one of the top cookery schools in Ireland run by Dorena Allen and her Daughter in law top TV cook Rachel Allen. The tomato relish in it is super delish. Enjoy👍
Love the drone footage Dan, it looks a beautiful place.. I find old churches & grave yards so interesting.. Mazzy I’m always told my chips are not as good as my husbands mum used to make.. but I’m not making them in a deep fat fryer with lard 🫣🤣
Has mazzy lost weight!? Looking good! 😉 Love that the videos are getting back to normal! Canny beat it! More castles, more history, more cooking and more ignorent gits! Lol(the animals) ☺
Great drone footage over the castle looks brilliant. I don't know if your doing this as it's not on video but before each flight you need to calibrate the drone compass by touching the calibration on there app with the drone on turn around in a circle while holding the drone level it may take several turns it will show you on the app. Then hold the drone on it's side when asked by the app and again turn around about three time the app will tell you when it's calibrated. Regarding the switches S2 on the left is for reconnecting the remote to the drone this shouldn't need to be used and return to home. The switch should be in the middle normally if you toggle it towards you from the middle it will activate return to home handy to use if phone goes dead. As for S2 on the right it should normally be pushed away from you which is for flying with a GPS signal. If you have no GPS then the switch should be in the middle but in this mode it will not hold it's position on it's own and you will have to do that with the remote or it wil just drift away in the wind. If the switch it towards you that's for special flight mode with other setting on the app. So S2 on the right needs to be pushed away from you maybe that's why it's acting like a teenager and going away and S1 on the left needs to be in the middle. Safe flying see you in the next Dan. Hope this helps.
Thank You Dan and Mazzy, the pasta looked amazing, only I don’t like to much hot spice, I do like it but no good for the old inside tum. Tuna pasta my favourite, tomato Passat, I think the ordinary tomato sauce Mazzy, then you add to it what you want. It’s cheaper than buying ready mixed ones . Love to You both. 👏🇬🇧🍀✌️😂💕
Hi Dan, All Canon DSLR cameras have "No" image stabilisation in the body. All stabilisation comes from the lenses. So there should be no difference between the 70 & 80D models in regards stabilisation.
As someone who can cook, apologies but that was the best laugh of the day ...... It shouldn't be runny for one thing. The small jar would have been enough. And I recommend stirring the tuna in last so it doesn't become too mushy.
Been enjoying your video. Learning a little bit of the past interesting. If the kids today could learn about the past a lot more respect and being thankful. That one stone appear maybe they sharpen tools. First letter. 🍕 cool.
The drone footage was a good bonus. Very stable now just a shame the batteries drained a bit in storage. El Capitan Dan to the rescue. Mazzy that pizza looked banging. 😀
I did like the look of the pasta but unfortunately not a tuna fan. So right about the pizza but I could still burn one lol My electric oven hates me 😂😂
Maybe it’s your lens that’s not working right; Amazon has lenses, refurbished, fairly good prices that you may try to fix the stabilization problem. There’s also a place called B&H photo, same thing...decent prices, lots to choose from. Hope that helps😊 Safe travels 🌻
dolmios original pasta sauce with the pasta. and you let pasta come to the boil and slow cook for 8 mins , drain off and mix with pasta sauce of your flavour 😋 you done great mazzy. luv the video. stay safe!!!
schwartz tuna napolitana sachet follow the instructions on the back. I dont eat hot tuna but all my family love this and you add ready salted crisps on the top. Alot cheaper than 4 euro aswell 😉 let us know how you get on. Emz x
Dan I remember a good few years I said to the wift that the dinner doesn't taste the same as my mum's well it was the last time I said it if you know what I mean but that was 30 years ago
You do have to trim the camera down till props out of view, mines the same bud, don't be afraid of flying it will return home, you may need to calibrate the camera if it's off to the side. have a look here, the left button is used for RTH the right is for gps and altitude mode, leave it on gps to be safe bud, position A www.dji.com/uk/mobile/phantom-3-standard ruclips.net/video/hyrXmXzfcD4/видео.html
Unfortunately like most things in life if you want really good image stabilisation you will have to buy a pro cannon lens. Oh just one more thing try cleaning the metal contacts on the camera body. Andy England 🇬🇧👍also check the contact pins on the lens if the not all level that could be your problem.
Don’t fly the drone so fast that will take the blades away and then when editing just speed up the frames to show normal flying speed. Yes longer flying time but no blades you’ll notice when flying what speed brings the blades in and go with that speed that doesn’t bring them in. Hope that helps! 🙂👍
Hi a can help you with your drone I done a you tube on how to fly a drone and there's one video on there with the same model as you have just type in how to fly a drone hope this helps you both and a great video 👍👍
Dan next shopping trip will be looking at everything you buy to see if it's gluten free. Then go buy a cheaper version with gluten. Normally i'm one to make fun of Dan for saving money but this time a little gluten never hurts!
I’m a vegetarian who doesn’t eat meat or fish (apart from chicken, beef and a little bit of pork) , but I must admit that tuna pasta dish looks delicious!

You shouldn't store the batteries fully charged. It will ruin them.
Lmao @ the CONCOCTION
Oh Dan we have replicas of that castle called White Castle in America. Cheap food like limp greasy chips and tiny square burgers for mice ...😁
Calibrate the gimbal it should point forwad... Those switches are the sport modes
I was just wondering if you guys still have your hand made art pieces on Ebay.

Nice video, I just made tuna noodle, you need bag of mixed veg or pees and cream of mushroom soup that's the way my mom made it.
I have pic from my trip to ireland in the same scenic area
Hi dan the two switches on the drone one is to change the flight mode and one is gimbal control hope this helps 👍
Can you imagine how disappointed I was when I had miss read the title and this was about cooking!

Pleased you sorted the sound on the camera🙃
Yes, just a simple button setting problem.
One question Dan was that ye olde cafe for the soldiers subsidized by the local lord of the manor. Andy 🇬🇧👍❓
