I'm listening to all their albums today as a tribute to Florian. What an amazing vision he had. One of the biggest innovators ever & hardly anyone has heard of him.
WOW!!! another female kraftwerk fan and another 80's high school graduate, 1983, kindred spirits (lol). i used to watch the guys breakdance at my school to kraftwerks numbers. i was hooked, in the 90's I started collecting music from 80's i liked and yes, kraftwerk, my 4 handsome men from germany, was included. tell ur friend i think kraftwerk values thier privacy which may be why they are not spoken or documented much n germany.
I remember listening to this on repeat at 12 years of age, lying on my bed in the dark and looking at the ceiling. I feel the exact same thing from back then. These guys have power in their music.
Interesting visual glitch at 4:50! Is always nice, interesting and refreshing hearing Kraftwerk on their own language. They had been the subject of speculation for ages on which edition of their albums got another language version, like "Electric Café Versión Española" which I dream to own. I remember reading decades ago from a very respected music magazine that they probably had made Deutsch versions to all of their albums, but that's incorrect! Still there's even a c'est magnifique "Les Mannequins" to their "Schaufensterpuppen"!
I learned of them, and JUST how legendary they were...in high school (1980) I remeber a song called "Numbers" , got turned on to this album in 1983...but had NO idea of the legends they were until I met my girl Bettina, from Germany. She said they are not played there much, and are not really spoken of or documentary shown, as I believe they should have been:( Maybe I should make the show, ja? Alles meine leibe...

When I purchased the Kraftwerk cassette, this was a step of new music and great to work out.
