- Gregory has gone into the Mega Pizzaplex daycare! He makes a grave mistake though, he trips the security system by grabbing a badge from the security desk, turning the lights off, freeing the moon daycare attendant. Will he survive, getting back to freddy?

I love how Sun always seems out of breath, likely cuz he’s talking so fast, barely taking breath breaks. Meanwhile Moons part is slower, most likely because his job is literally putting kids to sleep; so he’s singing his part as if singing a lullaby. A very creepy one-

listening to this song after Help Wanted 2 makes me realize how close you were to Sun's canon personality. It's really beautiful! His desperation, the way he almost doesn't like gregory from the beginning but is just lonely enough to need someone else. I love how the lyrics pretty much prove that all sun is trying to do is keep gregory safe and happy. He keeps suggesting they do things that most kids would find fun like color, play games and eat pizza. Plus “stay where I can see you” sounds exactly like something a parent would say to their kid

I love how the further the song goes the more it sounds like Sun is losing the last of what few marbles he had just trying to deal with Gregory.
Oddly enough, it wasn't until this song that I realized Sun's motivations to ban Gregory from the Daycare could be more complex than just being pissed. Sun could also be worried about Gregory's safety. After all, if Gregory turned the lights off once; who's to say Gregory wouldn't do it again? Perhaps Sun is aware enough to realize that, if he can't control Gregory, then he can't protect Gregory. At least if Gregory is in the Pizza Plex proper he can run away from Moon.

I feel like that was kind of obvious (in a non-condescending way on your behalf, of course). Sun knows Moon is dangerous, that's why he had that rule in the first place (not because he just wanted to hoard the body).
He probably has some kind of protocol he has to abide to, and given moon’s current state it would be in the pizzaplex’s best interest to keep kids that turn out the lights out of the daycare

Plus, although it seems like Sun kicking Gregory out and calling the other animatronics is a bad thing, he probably doesn't know they're malfunctioning, and they'd ordinarily help a lost child.

This so different to the older FNAF songs, but I gotta admit, this is actually really good. It’s super catchy and the animation is amazing. Security breach is probably my favorite FNAF game that I’ve seen, and to see that part of it represented so well is just so amazing.

the voices behind Sun and Moon are amazing at sounding just like the characters in the game as well as representing their personalities, emotions, and the intents one would notice when they're speaking. Sun's anxious and stressed traits can be heard and you can feel the increasing worry when it comes to the lights whereas you can sense Moon's menacing aura

What makes this song even sadder is when you really think about Sun and Moon and what situation you found them in and the Daycare. They are covered in dust and handprints. There are wires everywhere, which means that Sun either moved them or that they were put there to protect the staff against Moon. Sun's actions when Gregory shows up and his fear about Moon. His state of mind (he's probably been in Sun mode for a long time.) The 'incident.'

According to the book, sun and moon weren't originally the daycare attendance but worked on stage, moon whole purpose is to be the evil side of sun, when the company move them to daycare, they thought it would be too expensive to fix moon program, so they just made the sun program the daycare attendance, the moon program is just the cash grabber that is mascot the moondrop candy

I love the change of tone in sun's voice throughout the song, it really shows how seriously they treat the situation, and how they care about gregory's safety. While moon's part is basically the opposite! The eerie sensation and the tone make moon sound menacing and creepy. The song really has a lot of personality put into it! Kyle, you and Corey absolutely NAILED IT

I love how Sun is portrayed! Some of the lyrics also hints that sun isn’t cinnamon bun the fandom kinda turns him into. Like “Moms at the bar…” or “Dads at gator hood getting par…” saying that most kids parents don’t care about them 🧍♀️

i mean I think it's pretty universal for parents to drop their kids off to go do stuff like that. Thats why babysitters are hired normally, so the parents can go out and have some fun. Doesn't really mean they don't *care* per say.
Also i think there is a large part of the song that hints he's not exactly a full cinnamon bun (I think he's still overall sweet tho)
"Come on kid im warning you! " he look so frustated its like he's on his limits, cinnamon bun honestly don't do that, Sun knows how annoying kid would be.
I actually like the contrast of the happy chorus as Moon hunts for you. It highlights that Sun was trying to protect you from Moon. Plus staying where he can get to you is probably further insurance that you don't get hurt in the Daycare. I like the implications that he knew something was wrong in the pizza plex saying: 'Escape the trouble you're into' and 'There's danger in the halls that should be addressed'. He clearly was aware there was a threat outside his daycare. But when you broke the rule, you left him no choice. He had to get you out before you got yourself killed by Moon. He took a chance and hoped the others would protect you from the threat without putting it together that they were the problem. He probably thought that he was the most unsafe animatronic to be around because of Moon. Plus, youre trapped in the daycare. Theres no where to go that Moon cant reach there. If Moon was going to be a danger, he needed to make sure you coukd avoid him. It's unlikely that Sun ever left the daycare during the day or night. Might explain why he wasn't hacked. He was never in the pizza plex proper so they never got a crack at him. Moon wandered at night, so he was easy. But Sun was always surrounded by kids in a closed off area from the rest of the pizza plex. [Seperate because of safety] The lights probably went out in the daycare at night before. After Moon got hacked, they quick rigged something up to keep the lights on. Which explains the generators. After all, normally you wouldn't want to leave those around kids. But they needed a guarantee that the lights would always be on to keep it separate from the main power if there was a problem. If there was an issue with the generators, they still had the main power. At least that's my take on Sun and Moon.

I mostly agree with this comment except for the fact where your saying moon got hacked. Sun and moon are the same animatronic so it’s impossible for one to get hacked and not the other. I’m think fazbear entertainment just messed up with moons AI which made him dangerous and creepy which is evident by the bag you can collect where a parent is complaining about his child being terrified of sleeping in the dark after spending a day in the daycare. And fazbear entertainment being who they are and cutting corners decided to make it so that the lights are always on in the daycare instead of fixing the actual problem. And to make it so if the lights go out they put the backup generators in the play structures to make them easily accessible.
@@Flaminhotbagel They're two different AI's in one body, so it could very much be that Moon got hacked, but Sun's AI didn't, as the other AI might be hidden while the other is in control or "Piloting." But Sun should be able to sense a virus inside part of his system, as they do share the same system, technically. They're just two different parts of it, so Sun's taking precautions, and I'm assuming he begged management to fix it, but as you said, they just made sure the lights are always on instead of fixing the problem.
I'm just backing up where @lemon zest might've got that idea.

The voice of Moon is just perfect. Not saying Sun is bad, I just REALLY like how Moon sounds. I can't really put my finger on it though. I mean, it sort of sounds like Mark Hamill's Joker voice with some electronic filtering but that answer doesn't fully feel right to me. What do you guys think Moon sounds like? I can't quite put my finger on it. Great work to Kyle and the team, this song is so ridiculously catchy and just perfectly embodies the character dynamic with Sun and Moon.
imo it's the fact that moondrop's voice isn't just spook for spooks sake but instead put in line with the music giving it a new light and a new view on the sound of the voice

I love how at 1:43 you can tell that moon is taking over sun because his eyes are a little blacker and the sky is dimmer and the spikes on the sides of his head twitches a lot more, his voice sounds like he’s struggling with fight the moon. And the final peace of evidence is that he jumped at Gregory and we all know sun wouldn’t hurt a kid! And also at the end moon uses suns voice like how he did right before the lights turned fully off. The same thing happened at 0:54, but sun didn’t know

Sun speaks in yellow; sun when losing control is red, and moon is blue/purple (my phone is dim from being at 2% so I can't tell which) It's super cool!
I think it's more like, sun is panicking because when moon actually takes over he freezes to transition.

I love how Help Wanted 2 changed this from kind of an extreme interpretation of Sun to basically canon.
Amazing work! It perfectly captures Sun's happy, genuinly playful and fun yet also rather obsessively protective personality! That exact mix of fun and unsettling vibes I got from him in-game, too! And Moon's part was SOOOOO GOOD as well!

This was the theory I had when writing the song. Sun 100% isn't being controlled by Afton but Moon surely is.
This got me to think about the hourly recharge a bit. If Gregory was stuck in the daycare with Sun during the recharge, he would've been stuck with Moon. And literally shown in the game, Freddy won't hesitate to wait for Gregory to show up regardless of the hourly recharge so, knowing him, he probably would've waited. That would've trapped Gregory with Moon for who knows how long and no one, especially Sun, wants that.
Sorry about this little rant-
It's not just Gregory. If moon was controlled by Afton and acted violently sun would notice that and try to ban any naughty kids, or even kick kids out in general in case the lights go out so they can be safe. It's just part of his programming to play with kids and be friendly. However if there was a child like Gregory, turning the lights off when sun told them not to, that's rule breaking, thus allowing sun to ban them for their safety.

I love how this song starts happy and peppy and slowly devolves into madness. It captures Sun perfectly, as the other comments have said. I also really like Gregory in this. He's pretty much my reaction to all this. Surprised at the appearance of a new and _different_ animatronic who doesn't seem to want to kill him. Confused at the weird peppiness and then the odd choice of words for the lyrics to a supposedly jolly tune. Then determination when he realizes that, hey, he needs to _get the heck out._ Fear when Moon comes out and the _real_ danger begins.
Moon's lyrics are so... good. I like them. They're quiet, calm, and very blunt/to the point. It's a stark contrast from Sun's over-the-top, desperate scrambling that probably qualifies as screaming and/or begging.

The fact that sun and moon were originally going to be on stage performers (maybe like an acrobatic act?) and moon was MADE to scare people as a sort of thrilling part of the show makes me so sad. They were supposed to be stars like the glamrocks, but instead the idea was scrapped and they were forced to watch irresponsible parent's brats. And to add insult to injury Fazbear Ent. decides making them more child friendly wasn't in the budget, so they don't get rid of moon and simply keep the lights on, but God forbid they actually replace the wiring so the lights stay on. They barely made it possible for sun to be capable of watching kids. And I can imagine just how frustrating it must be for moon to try to get children to sleep when he was made to scare them. It's so unfair, these two deserved so much better.
Also if you notice one is like comedy 🎭 and tragedy the masks (in ruin it shows sun is comedy mask and moon is the tragedy mask
My children have been into FNAF and from the moment they showed me this video the song got stuck in my head. I absolutely adore the voice, the lyric and the message. Even though some people might find it “creepy” it actually shows he sadly truth of what can happen when a child doesn’t listen. The sun just represent a caregiver trying to keep his children save! I just love it 😍

The lullaby just seems to be more of a fit due to the correlation that this was something that was made for kids but was turned creepy. It Just gives me the heebie-jeebies like the lullaby does. It could also be that I just love the nightmare before Christmas too much for it to be considered creepy to me.

What I love about the song (aside from the song itself) is the fact that Sun here say "Ding Dong" which is the opposite of Moon who (for some reasons) say "Knock Knock" when searching for you.

The song really gives the whole part of the daycare event, the "lights on" in chorus was the 1st rule in the daycare,the "be where I can reach you" was the part Gregory must not be nearby the counter where the flashlight,light,and computers are at.And also the "here he comes the time is soon" was the part where the whole pizza Plex lights are off,which moon roams around while running around with Glamrock freddy. And also the other lyrics,let's just say etc.
