A young man prays from the Goddess Eris that he could be famous and glorified oneday. The Goddess took a special and deep liking to this mortal, and blesses the man with good fortune. But once the boy grows older and becomes famous, he forgets his beloved Goddess as his fame grows.
The Goddess, who is now very displeased and angry about this betrayal, decides to take back what's hers and keep the man with her forever as a form of a statue.
