Mabye one brave ATLA fan got the skills to somehow remake that wonderful piece of music. Btw. it would also perfectly fit to the "battle of heroes" at Star Wars Episode III. It's so well made that it reminds me of John Williams :O
@@357159377 It never got released sadly :'( But I tried my best to recreate it, you can take a look. It was hard though because I didn't have the same violin sounds and I created the song only by ear.
So i had a bit of a play about on audacity and fused "zuko vs azula" and "mako's sacrifice" together and lets just say it sounds beautiful 😍 (i tried putting in jinora's light as well but i couldn't get it to fit because it didn't have that fighting chance impact to it)
To me, the classic violin will always be my favorite emotion. The twin violins just have so much more depth to me, and the sounds of the flames in the background give it that sense of danger and foreboding, while still being such a tragic sounding piece of music. Mako's Sacrifice is also a beautiful soundtrack (Jinora's Light has never stuck out to me as being unique in any way, sorry) but it just simply doesn't have the same tragedy as the original Final Agni Kai did, and that's why people love that soundtrack. Because we all knew that Zuko was going to win, he was at the top of his game, yet we all felt bad for Azula because we watched her descent throughout season 3, and this is the final product of her fall to madness.
I love the music, and even I didn't catch that; you gotta great pair of ears, haha. How did you come across such clean music, I've been aching to get more than sub-par quality of anything but the first season of Korra.
I wish I knew what Jeremy Zuckerman was inspired by when composing that melody back in 2007/8. and how it was to retake it for use in the Legend of Korra
Caraa como eu nunca tinha percebido!!! Essas são as minhas musicas favoritas de tds do avatar e eu nunca percebi q eram versoes da mesmaa!! Hahahahaahhahh Foda demais
I only made a remake of the violin part in the last agni kai but I also could make one of mako's sacrifice. Would take more time though because of more instruments that are involved in it. I can create songs by ear, so I don't need to know the tones because I can just figure it out.
If you're talking about the opening theme for the Last Agni Kai, no, it's definitely not an erhu, which sounds higher in pitch. I remember reading something from Jeremy Zuckerman or Bryke that said this was the only instance in the show when they use a Western instrument. I think LOK versions use cello for Jinora's Light and Erhu for Mako's Sacrifice.
haha no worries, the point of the video was to show that the violin part of the first song (which isn't included in the officially-released version of the song) was reworked and reused in LOK soundtrack
@@kkachi95 I gotta say I love the modernized sound of the erhu, but the violin just holds so much more emotion in it, and the sounds of the flames add to it. AH I LOVE AVATAR
This violin part is actually my favourite. Such a shame there isn't a longer version of it
I know right?!
It hurts that there isnt
Exactly

This cool guy remade it LAKextendedv3 type that into SoundCloud
The violin theme gets reused quite frequently. If you pay attention during the Korra vs Vaatu fight, you can hear it play throughout.
Yeah someone pointed that out to me and it sounds very similar to Jinora's light. Too bad official version of that piece was never released :/
charles955 Seriously fuck Nickelodeon. I would pay 25 dollars apiece for official book 2-4 soundtracks
When exactly? :P
potatoNick And they say romance is dead lol
I just realized that today that's why I'm here Lol
Someone needs to just isolate the beginning violin opening and replay that shit on a loop and post it
in a way these 3 pieces kinda morph into one another as the video goes on and it just send chills up my spine listening to them. such beautiful songs.
Glad I am not the only who noticed it in Mako's Sacrifice!! Really love this violin opening, it's pretty iconic
0:00-0:14 my favorite part
You know by any chance an extended version of it? Or the full version? Can't seem to find one :(
Joel same

Would you mind publishing it?
Pleasr
0:59 this part in the show always made me tear up
Wow. Possibly my favorite track in Korra is rooted in my favorite track from TLA. Awesome stuff.

Agni kai and mako's sacrifice was the best
Now I need to rewatch avatar
Is there an extended version of the violin in the last agni kai?
I made a remake of the violin part in the last agni kai

Jeremy Zuckerman has bunch of season 2~4 songs on his sound cloud: soundcloud.com/jeremy-zuckerman
OH, duh, even I knew that and forgot! Thank you!
me in 0:14 > WTF??????????
Yesss, this is absolutely beautiful- I'm so glad to find an upload for this part
Woah, they are so similar
I hope we can get an extended version of the first 14 seconds in the live action 😩✌
I made a remake of the first 14 seconds (violin part). Yeah it sucks that it never got released that's why I made it myself.
Best part
Very good!
Give me some time to get used to new sound track good work
This kind of sound was also in book 2 episode 13 where unalak destroyed rava

I made a remake of the Last Agni Kai (Violin Opening). It's so sad that it never got released. It's so beautiful
❤
i think theres traces of it in service & sacrifice too!
Can you post all the music with the violin opening please ?
Mako's sacrifice , Ginora's light , Last Agni Kai and Service and Sacrifice sound pretty much the same
Not at all. Maybe tiny parts of the melody but they're drastically different and super amazing in their own way.
Caraa como eu nunca tinha percebido!!! Essas são as minhas musicas favoritas de tds do avatar e eu nunca percebi q eram versoes da mesmaa!! Hahahahaahhahh Foda demais
i had the idea of last agnikai and jinorralight to. makos music was Irohs speach ore not?
This cool guy remade it LAKextendedv3 type that into SoundCloud
Can someone just make a violin cover of Mako’s Sacrifice so that we have the violin opening
I only made a remake of the violin part in the last agni kai but I also could make one of mako's sacrifice. Would take more time though because of more instruments that are involved in it. I can create songs by ear, so I don't need to know the tones because I can just figure it out.
Actually I think in legend of Korra they used something called an erhu not a violin
Can I get the sheet music?
wat das an erhu

it just caught me off guard is all
