Same here. I am from Norway and I have ADHD hyperactive and very curious and adventurous and Norway was not for me . I live in Spain right now and I have no plans to move back. I want to go to Korea to experience it and have fun adventure and to expand my mind and mind of others I meet in Korea .
I visited Korea for the first time in April of this year, Korea certainly has a certain vibe about it. Each area of Seoul is pretty unique in itself I found. I was surprised coming from the UK how affordable it was as a tourist, how cheap it was to eat out etc. For me to get an affordable meal in the UK going out, it’s either deep fried or microwaved crap, just generally low quality. In Korea a big bowl of hand cut noodles cost me around £3! What you can do in Seoul is so much better, half the time I can’t even stand going to my country’s capital just because it’s so expensive.
I 100% agree! Korea is such a wonderful place to live. I lived there for a while a few years ago, and I dream of going back everyday 🥲 I didn't speak the language well while living there so it was definitely a struggle lol! I'm happy you have such a positive viewpoint about living there 💜 I hope to live there again one day soon, and as always- love your vids!
I am dying to go back to Korea again. I was there in Jan 2019 but only for 3 weeks. I live the bush, essentially... so it was a nice change. Would love to see you bake something again
Such a nice video! This definitely helped me to know more of the options I have with South Korea and visiting/living there. I really liked the part where you talked about fandom culture and how you are with it currently because that really made me relate with you. I've never been a person to be a huge fan of anyone aside from supporting the work they put out but I've had so many discussions about this topic with my friends who are deep in the fandom culture. K-pop is still something very dear to me, literally helps me feel like a bad bitch everyday and has helped me in finding my way back to dancing and the passion I have for it :)
I am in my mid-20 and finally can go to concert by myself. So i am enjoying being a fan so much now. However, that is the only thing I want to do and maybe singing and dancing because those are my passion. But, the voting, watching variety, fighting on social media has never been my thing and will never be
I was supposed to visit Korea right before the pandemic hit. I've visited Japan and loved it, but I've always wanted to visit Korea it looks like a beautiful place! Hopefully I am able to go soon!
Much success to you living in Korea! I know what you mean about getting away from the fandom aspect of K-pop. I used to live in Korea and I first got into Kpop back in 2011 when I was in my early 20s. I wasn't on the high end of the fandom spectrum, but by my late 20s I wasn't listening to it as much. Now I'm in my late 30s and for some odd reason, I've started listening to (some) Kpop again, but now I just listen to it for enjoyment and as a study tool to help me learn more Korean.
Aww! Glad this was recommended when I search for Korea storytime. Subscribe now! Ya! I think most adult over there listen to more R&B, indie music and western music. Kpop listened more by international fans.
i think food is definitely my top reason if i was to visit korean food looks amazing. you make moving to another country sound less daunting and it really is possible. i cant help but think of the difficulties and how long the process is. id be interested if you made a video on getting a visa, or apartment hunting and how you got yours
I will definitely touch of those topics at some point! Happy to shed some light on these things can can be confusing coming to korea for the first time!
Every countries on this planet have good and Bad sides it is not just South Korea but funny thing is Korean media especially K dramas and movies don't try to hide it instead they really show people around the world about the dark side of theirs society unlike my country.
It's not that I don't care, I am just so out of touch with it after spending so many years abroad. But now that we are looking to grow our family I want my children to have a strong connection to my culture aswell so I will definitely be bringing our swedish traditions and stuff into our family life 🥰
The Korean community is where constant jealous sabotage by the Chinese and Japanese takes place. If you know the truth, you will realize that there are a lot of them. As a Korean, such rude comments make me angry.

Stockholm is also super expensive when it comes to food so I totally feel you on that! Though prices have been going up alot here in Korea too 😭

That is fair! As long as you enjoy it there is no shame in that!

Jag håller med! Jag har aldrig varit i Korea men det verkar som att man skulle få en energiboost bara av att vara i miljön
Beror ju självklart på hur man är som person men tycker definitivt det är ett land man borde besöka åtminstone en gång!!
