Loved your work wonderful job ❤❤❤❤❤ I have 2 questions did you paint the wooden canvas first before applying proxy and what Dreyer did u used plz mention
@elle pours I love your work..im curious as to how does the middle small crystal stick i did see u put redin on top of it but it was a small amount drizzledis that enough?, did u first mix them with resin or did i miss some step. Thanks
Hey there! Usually during the top coat I drizzle more. Before detailing, I usually move it around and see if I get any fall out. If so, I drizzle more during top coat. After that I dust all the access off and it creates small divots which I love the look of. Hope that helps!
Hello nice job there dear. I wish to know how your inks got to the edges. Because on the hanged canvas i can see the edges well designed but i didnt see you doing that on your video. Thanks
Hey there! I later after filming painted the edges black. If your epoxy is starting to harden it’s the perfect time to do the edges properly. If you’re not so lucky you paint them after (the dripping look is my personal favourite but not every buyer agrees, depending on the piece it truly depends) the drips are organic in this case. If you’re working with soft edged wood the edges are much easier to control. Sharp edges like this aren’t as easy and need perfect timing with your epoxy. I hope I answered your question well ❤️ - Elle
If I'm wanting to keep my background matte and applying the glass pieces can I just use epoxy to apply the glass only in those areas or would the canvas warp over time? 🤔
Hey there! I buy crystal quartz and crushed Crystal Quartz from a local Crystal seller. If you google crystal stores you can find lots usually. I also hand pick some from smaller businesses
I was wondering if there’s a way to stop the black from seeping under the crystals. I know you paint some gold so it don’t matter. But, I’d love to know if there’s a technique to prevent that from happening.
Hey there! You can actually do the crystals in a separate session with clear. Let it cure for (12-24 hours depending on the brand) and start pouring your design.
I watched 2 videos of you as I searched resin painting in canvas. What kind of canvas that you use?? I wanted to make resin painting for my both parents & stepdad birthday. But I doubt about what canvas I should use. I'm new for resin painting. Usually only keychains, rings, bros. I usually painting in canvas with acrylic paint. I hope you always be happy & healthy from inside & outside..
This is a wooden panel canvas designed for heavy holding. A real canvas will be damaged using heavy product like epoxy so this is to make sure it’s for a long life as long as it’s been taken care of. I do Timelapse’s for peaceful watching and for people to watch but there are many people offering classes who will explain much further if you need that.
I have just found your channel and am so glad that I did. I have been pouring for about 1.5 years but have not done a geode. Can you please tell me more specifically where you get all of the glass and crystals that you use? TIA
Ellie how did you adhere the crystals at the beginning. I could not tell if you pored clear epoxy on them before you started adding the black epoxy design
Hey there! Yes I take clear epoxy and drizzle it on top, you can do it multiple ways though. If you add white pigmented epoxy as a layer underneath, you can pour your glass and Quartz over it too. I recommend white so they pop and the true shine comes through. I usually just paint the canvas first so I don’t do that, but the odd time I switch it up ☺️
Thank you so much!! I used The gold paint showed in the video to paint, I used gilded gold by Meyspring for the actual pigments in the epoxy too! And this one is for sale on my website still :) www.ellepours.ca
Hey there! It's actually a wooden panel from Curry's art supply. I recommend wood for strength, epoxy and glass are heavy materials so it will give you extra longevity. It also gives you more control pouring as it won't tip in while curing. Hope this helps!
I’m not sure at all. I didn’t measure this one as it was a smaller piece. I personally only truly measure quantities if a piece is really big because it affects the price of the piece but I didn’t use much for this size canvas.
you are showing without advising how many days you are leaving for dry , just contineously showing your video will not teach others how to impliement , what is the use of making video , after painting how many you are drying before resin is applied ? no information? correct yourself in videos
I replied to your other comment. You need to correct your behaviour and pay for a damn class. I’m not teaching but thanks for the ridicule. Go make coasters if you’re that incapable of understanding epoxy… you should not be trying to create larger items yet at your level and that isn’t my responsibly to hold your hand. I didn’t even have Timelapse’s when I learned, it’s called research and practise.
This is so entitled it’s insane. Not only is this not a free class- it’s a Timelapse. It’s designed so the buyer of the art can see how their piece was made. I’m also an open book unlike almost every single artist on this platform. I share every piece of info I can for FREE. I show all my materials (it’s called pausing) which I do not have to do at all. This is also an older video and my new layout has it in the details. I do RUclips for fun not a job, in fact I work full time, do art part time, keep up with my social media’s SOMEHOW in the small periods of time I do have. Again, you sound entitled and quite frankly an absolute asshole. Go PAY for a class- there are many artists who have courses designed for people learning. If you’re that early in your stages using epoxy I would suggest you start small and learn the product because your previous comment about dry times is very very very basic knowledge and if you’re making a canvas already you’re too new into this material.
I'm truly mesmerized by your work, I don't even think I blink when watching.
This is the nicest comment ever! Thank you so much! 🥰🥰🥰
Stunning piece! And I loved the background music! Definitely my second favorite part about the video 😉 🎶
hahahaha fav comment ever! thank you!
Wow! 😮 Can’t wait to do mine own piece, this is absolutely stunning. Thanks for sharing with us. I see these pictures at stores and they’re expensive.

Absolutely gorgeous piece of artwork you made. I bet you can sell each piece in an instant because I would buy one.
Thank you so so much that’s so kind!!! I actually have plenty available on my website ❤️ www.ellepours.ca
thanks and you definitely have a subscription from me I have one question on the end you added gold did you mix the gold with anything
Bravo. Except mica powder can we use acril paints with epoxy and how mutch on%?
I’m not sure I understand the question… if you’re asking ratios, every brand is different. 10% mica is usually the maximum with epoxy.
Awsummm

Do you have to paint primer or do anything to prep the canvas before creating geode art?
If I'm wanting to keep my background matte and applying the glass pieces can I just use epoxy to apply the glass only in those areas or would the canvas warp over time? 🤔
Simply gorgeous 😍 what resin do you use and do they ever yellow after time?
Yes after 100 years
Оболдет
Вы настоящий талант 👍🥰👌
Hi is that resin mixed with the colors it's soo pretty
How did you get the crushed glass glass to adhere to the canvas? Beautiful piece of work!
Resin
The base is wood or canvas? Beautiful piece
That’s what I want to know
I just read in the description it is wooden 😂
A wooden canvas so she’s using a canvas
It is very nice but you got to do your sides
Beautiful work of art, can I ask where did you get the really large gems?
Hey there! I buy crystal quartz and crushed Crystal Quartz from a local Crystal seller. If you google crystal stores you can find lots usually. I also hand pick some from smaller businesses

I really, really love this piece.....Great work!
(I had a read of the comments below and can't believe how rude some people are).
Thank you so much! You’re so kind!!
And yes I agree, the internet is harsh at times 😂

How do you get the crystals to stay and where do you buy a wooden canvas?
Hi, is this mdf board or canvas. Will the canvas board last long life, or resin will damage the piece. Plz explain. I have this doubt longtime
This is a wooden panel canvas designed for heavy holding. A real canvas will be damaged using heavy product like epoxy so this is to make sure it’s for a long life as long as it’s been taken care of.

❤ *WATCHED AND SUBBED!* WILL WATCH THE REST OF YOUR VIDEOS NOW* 😊😊
Wow
👍💓!!!
can you use acrylic paint and do you mix the paint into the resin or just pour paint then top coat resin
I use pure epoxy resin with mica powder pigments inside! Hope this helps!
I hope you mention the proportions of resin i like how its so clear
Proportions are always 1:1 with epoxy. It’s always on the bottle and some brands might be different.
I have just found your channel and am so glad that I did. I have been pouring for about 1.5 years but have not done a geode. Can you please tell me more specifically where you get all of the glass and crystals that you use? TIA
I get my glass from Michaels usually! crystals are from a local crystal shop but you can find them online or etsy!
Can we use hair dryr on resin?

where to find crystal stone or the gems in a good price online !!!
Is that a canvas underneath? If not what is it called please 🙏🏻????

How much resin total did you end up using ?
Hello how are you? Where do I get a canvas for wall art that's suitable for resin? Thanks
Always use wood instead of actual canvas! I get mine from curry’s art supplies! I hope this helps
Hi - how many grams of the clear crushed quartz did you need for this?
I’m not sure at all. I didn’t measure this one as it was a smaller piece. I personally only truly measure quantities if a piece is really big because it affects the price of the piece but I didn’t use much for this size canvas.
What is size of wood?
واووو رائع جدا اخدت كام ريزن
What type of color is ?
oh, i'm so sorry i forgot to Say Hello!
You should write what material you are using
Press pause ☺️ I show them all, I also answer when people ask politely. It’s not a free class it’s a Timelapse.
Yes it is beautifull in the front. Next time, take the side with it and then you make your art compleet.
That will be up to me but thank you! I like it both ways.
👁💋👁 wow 😍
