On his way to winning his 12th Grand Slam Title, Roger Federer's level was absolutely insane, one of the most brutal performances in the history of Tennis.

I don't think his records will hold but when federer was in his prime he was the most complete talented player in history.
Simple the GOAT.
He still is and maybe Alcaraz will surpass him. But in terms of pure raw talent, beauty of the game, attacking tennis, he will always be the GOAT. Djokovic and Nadal might win more titles, they will be considered better than him for the common crowd that know little about tennis (or maybe because they have good reasons to prefer Djoko or Nadal, like bein Spanish or from the Balkans), but although they were arguably more dominant in their prime, they were younger when Roger set new standards. They had to uphold them, they had a target to reach. Somehow, Federer needed those 2 arch rivals to get to the number of titles he reached, but I believe Djoko and Rafa needed Roger to get to the fantastic level of tennis they were able to achieve. They achieved it true dedication and hard work. Roger too, obviously, but less so imho. Before Rafa and Djoko rose to prominence, he already had an incredible level of play. Agassi and Sampras were among the greatest back then, but still at the level of the old ones: Connor, Enroe, Borg, Lendl: tremendous level but not godlike, like this fabulous triumvirat managed to reach. And I won't even speak of the global slowing down of surfaces (for marketing/ads reasons mainly) that greatly favored Djoko and Nadal style of play.
@@FallaciousRamblings This isn't even really a theory. Djokovic and Nadal have both talked at length in interviews about the huge impact that Roger had on their game. Murray too (let's be honest, the big 4 were the big 4 for a reason. Murray fell off much quicker, but the level of tennis he played was well above the rest of the crowd, even if he was more demi-god level, like Connor, McEnroe, Borg etc.). Federer elevated the sport to GOAT level through sheer mastery of tennis. I really wish we could see 04-08 Federer play 11-15 Djokovic or Nadal from 08-13 play each other all day.
Who knows, maybe the big 3 just occupy 'GOAT Level" as a separate category, and there will be other GOAT Level players in the future (Alcaraz is really showing it). The best among them will come down to the videos and I feel like the future will be kinder to Federer if he's seen among a wide array of players at the same level. Hopefully someone trains a video AI model to restore old tennis matches. More HD footage would be awesome
It doesn’t matter. The word “better” simply doesn’t matter when you’re talking about 104 vs. 103 career titles. Both players deserve praise for entering tournaments and refusing to lose a match for 5-7 outings against other pros.
It’s just hot air otherwise.
seen this intro like 100 times and it's still such a banger
Glad you love it buddy ❤️
for me when it comes to Tennis, its one N only one i.e. Roger the great.. he has best in class shots, stamina, sportsmanship N humility.. love him a lot N miss Roger badly
@@saikat93ify He has 13 Times best Sportmanship award and 19 Times Fan's favorite award. His stamina isn't the best but in his prime his speed and resilience was on par with Young Rafa. His Court presence can't even be replicated like ever. Never Ever withdrew from an ongoing match ( was bageled in his last match in his favorite court due to injury but did not retire) . That's Greatness, as Robbie Koenig once said " It's near the gods,No mortal may approach "
10:58 poetry in motion. Any court level view or slow motion of fed he always makes it look good. So smooth great footwork etc
Dude, i really miss Roger u.u
he is the real GOAT.
Roger is 🐐❤️
So humble when he wins.
Thank you Roger! Toutes nos felicitations! 😊👍👍👍
Your videos are awesome but 0:51 this intro made me big fan of your channel. Love 💕 from India 🇮🇳
Thank you so much! Welcome to the channel buddy ❤️
Its so funny listening to the commentators explaining how Andy Roddick stole all of Isner's clothes haha
when I saw Isner's team go crazy after the 1st set victory, haha cute....
3:02 looks like unforced error to me.
The streak is from the second set onwards
looks like you did not listen to the intro.
Can't imagine him not making an UE in a game during his later years
From 3:33 *Mastered Ultra Instinct*
I believe that greatest match ever was McEnroe beating Connors in the 84 Wimbledon final with only 3 unforced errors in three sets.
yeah, considering the stage it's hard to come close.
An honorable mention could be 2007 AusOpen semi between Gonzalez and Haas. If I'm not mistaken Gonzo also made only 3 (maybe 4, I've seen both statistics so Idrk) UE in the entire match
@@Lohpezhoh Good one, incredible match!
Great video. That's Naruto music in the vid's opening 😁
I see you're a man of culture
@@WivoRN No other way!
Reminds me of Nadal vs Del Potro US Open 2017
Your intro music is beautiful. Can we have a link to the actual song (if it is a full song)? Please 🙏
Thank you Emmy! It's Naruto rainy day remix by besideu
@@WivoRN Thanks so much. Keep doing what you do.
Much appreciate the song name.
Over time there may be better players but nobody will be anywhere near as cool as Fed in the 2007 USO final. That’s peak history cool as fuck, all black 🔥🔥🔥
3:05 is unforced?
1st set tiebreak 4 all, that was an UE
Its sad that federer doesnt get respect anymore These days because of the ,,Weak Era"
3:59
I really miss Nike Federer.
6'9"... and then Isner had ANOTHER growth spurt.
3:10 err ?
Tie break 5-4 first set, Roger shanks it, but not an error?
From that point forward till the middle of the 4th set he didn't make a single error. Keep watching the video and you will understand buddy :))
@@WivoRN you mean unforced error. I'm sure you didn't show all 105 points.
This is the 100th comment
there were unforced errors from federer... 6:6 4:4 in the tiebreak for example
unforsud xD
Hum, fake title..... is it not an error at 3'05 ?!?
bro from the intro it’s so easy to tell that u hate Rafa lol
What? 😭
@@WivoRN jk lol
Roger is more complete player then Nadal. If there is no clay Nadal would not exist.Nadal ddint win Roger on hard court since 2014 and Novak sice 2013. He also did not win wimbeldon since 2010 and he needed 13 yeara to win AO again(because Novak was deported)
Aha, if there are more clay GS then Nadal would be the absolute beast.. Kiddo.
Shut up, Enjoy the video and stop putting down other great players to make yours favorite better.
If if if. Please stop
Naa, Rafa beat Roger more times on Hard Courts than Roger beat Nadal on Clay
Federer won RG once, Nadal won wimbledon twice. Federer hasnt taken nadal to a 5th set at RG😂
😶🌫️
It’s funny that fans make shitty assumptions about the big 3(actually big 4) when all they are, are great friends.
murray is a old grumpy man he sucks
I don't think R F is a friend of Novak or his family who consistently behaved abusively.

Funclub idiots goatkovic in comments😂
Only goat Djocovic
@@kingnole4237 only in yugoslavia🤣
Title is a lie as Fed did a few errors within the last 3 sets, but you would have to understand the game to see them.
Annx you would have to understand the definition of an unforced error
What about 2019 wimbledon final tiebreakers?😂😂😂
Yeah in those Novak had just to pass balls
What about US open 2020 ?
if novak is the greatest of all time why are you watching a federer video lol the man is in your head because you know he's more universally loved than djoko ever will be
@@TheKDX7 Roger still couldn't sit due to that painful spanking at AO 2020 😂
@@chitrangadasingh9020 yes, sat back and, saw Roger choking badly🙂
Weak era champ lul
Lol, fake account trolling.... Hilarious stuff 😂
We all know Djoko is the weak era champ 🥱
weakest era chump is 2018 -present with weak nextgen. 🤣🤣
