Fred Olsen Cruise Line Owner’s Suite, Premier Suite & Balcony Suite

3 for the price of 1! On my recent Fred Olsen Borealis cruise I was lucky enough to be shown the Owner’s suite and a Premier suite by senior manager Jessica Young. As well as touring these cabins, Jessica is also on hand to offer information and tips about these cabins including accessibility. I then show you my own cabin, a balcony suite (featured also in a vlog of mine). This is cruising the Olsen Way!

We have just come off Borealis and had a lovely time. For 2 people, a balcony suite was a bit squished until we got used to it and who moved first! Next time with Fred we are going in a Premier Suite which has much more room

Not sure about the colours and I travel solo nearly always , I have never seen a double bed made up that way and since we pay almost double for a cabin , I want a full bed with a full size duvet not half! However I do like the staff and small ship style of ship with Fred Olsen, I am tempted.

I’m sure if I’d said something to the stewardess but I didn’t need to as I only ever sleep on the left hand side of a bed!!

There was an ashtray on the balc table in premier suite, does that mean smoking is allowed on the balcony? Also only negative was the Tv position otherwise very nice

We have just come off Borealis and had a lovely time. Yes you can smoke on a Fred Olsen balcony, which has spoilt our enjoyment of the balcony in the past. From 1st April 2025 you wont be allowed to smoke or vape in cabins or on balconies.
