Memorizing Without Memorizing, Let's Memorize the Qur'an with the Tikrar Method
A person who always reads and memorizes the Al Quran will receive intercession which will serve on the Day of Judgment. This is the proposal of the Prophet in the hadith narrated by Imam Muslim. From Abi Umamah, “I heard Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam say,' read by you the Qur'an. Surely he will be an intercessor on the Day of Resurrection for his readers (memorizers) '.
If you are interested in memorizing the Qur'an, there is one simple method that will make it easier for us to memorize verses in the Qur'an, namely the Tikrar method.
Memorizing Without Memorizing
The Tikrar method is done in a fairly easy way. The key is persistence in doing it, so that we don't need to feel overwhelmed by the weight of memorizing the Qur'an, which has many of these letters. In fact, it's so easy, this method is called being able to make us memorize the Qur'an without memorizing it.
Done by Repetition or Repetition
When memorizing the Qur'an using the Tikrar method, we only need to read the verse that we want to read over and over again. For example, maybe two or three selected verses are read, so that we can verbally pronounce the sentence we are memorizing.
The oldest method of memorizing
The Tikrar method is the oldest way to memorize the Qur'an. This method has been used by many Qur'an memorizers from the past until now. That said, the Tahfidz students at the Nabawi Mosque and the Grand Mosque also made a vow or repetition of at least 40 times. But this time the admin only uses 3 repetitions so that the video duration isn't too long and the memorizers don't get bored quickly.
The key to memorizing success is in repetition
A study also revealed that repetition is the key to success if we want to memorize something. The more often we say it, the stronger our memory of the memorization.
Imam al-Bukhari also shared secrets about the power of his memorization. He said that "I could not find a more effective way to memorize than by constantly looking at the text and repeating words, because that is what memorization is all about."
Anyone Can Be A Qur'an Reciter
With this Tikrar method, anyone can memorize the Quran, as long as they are willing to do it consistently and with patience. Be patient when reading it over and over again, muroja'ah (keep memorizing), to be patient in completing it until you memorize 30 juz.
It is highly recommended to start with shorter, easier letters. When we have memorized it, we can begin to move to letters with longer verses.
Better If Assisted with Audio
To make it easier for us to memorize the Qur'an, it is highly recommended to use an audio aid, such as Murottal MP3 or a Quran application. When we often hear recitation of the Qur'an repeatedly, the verse or letter will be more easily absorbed by the brain. The verses of the Al-Qur'an will unconsciously and stick in our memory. Here the admin will help beginners memorize the Al-Qur'an by using a video equipped with audio as well as writing consisting of Arabic and Latin so that the memorizer is easier and faster to memorize.
